Mr. Pratik Gauri, India CEO - 5th Element Group, espoused the dire need for a 5th industrial revolution, which would focus on the central tenets of humanity, purpose, and inclusivity.
He stressed the need to reinvent business as a force for good, by bending progress towards a noble purpose while continuing to hit all the KPIs.
He suggested that businessmen, philanthropists, social entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders should all be involved in important company decisions. Pratik is the India CEO of United States based 5th Element Group, CoFounder/Chairman of India Needs You - a leadership movement, and has held executive positions with the TATA Group. Through 5thelement.group, he is creating the 5th Industrial Revolution by working with brands to amplify their brand warmth by unlocking millions of dollars for social causes using the shared language of the UN SDGs ( Sustainable Development Goals ). Through INY, he has hosted 15+ impact convenings in the spaces of law / entrepreneurship /public policy / women empowerment and has equipped 25k+ young adults with a leadership toolkit. 5th Industrial revolution will solve the issue of Social Injustice and human rights issues.
I am an advocate of the SDG in Nigeria through Kaka Memorial Foundation. How do we still record forbes richest and world most wealthiest but still have people suffering and lacking the basic amenities of life? Where is the justice and fairness.
In 2023, I have the big idea of using technology in solving the issues that has stagnated Nigeria and other African countries.
Wealth is created through human input.. Man power, innovations etc.
Why not take the dividend from this creation to humanity?
We need an enabling and equal world. People wouldn't be in the same class but basic social amenities will be readily available.
Why are we still talking about SDG in a digital world having AI and big Data and blockchain etc?
It doesn't sit well with me.
Let's all come together to solve this humanitarian issue.
