Hola maestra, soy brasilero y hablo portugués, estudio español desde hace un tiempo, encontré su canal aquí en RUclips y ahora estoy aprendiendo español e inglés juntos, ha sido increíble, es una excelente maestra , felicidades!!!!🎉
Oh my goodness, your channel has over a million subscribers and somehow, I just discovered you for the first time today! You are a very good teacher and your "Hollywood Smile" doesn't slow down the learning process. One frustration in my life long struggle to learn Spanish is that despite its overall richness, it doesn't have as many words as some other languages, English included, that will allow a person to speak with more depth of detail, feeling and precision. I read a N.Y. Times article that confirmed this - an article announcing that a few years ago, the "authoritative" dictionaries of the Spanish Language finally reached 250,000 words. English is a language of 1 million words. This explained to me why during a period of my life when I was experiencing Spanish immersion spending half of my time in Mexico (including Estado Chiapas right up against the Guatemalan border), the native speakers I knew used the same generic words such as "bueno" over and over, while I, the Spanish language novice, struggled to use a variety of words in place of the generics. I am a retired U.S. lawyer, a profession where precision in the use of language is essential, so I instinctively attempt to speak the same way in Spanish. I know I'd be much further along in Spanish if I was content to use the more basic vocabulary. I hope you will do a companion video for "malo" and other generic descriptive words. In the meantime, have a wonderful trip to gloriously beautiful Chiapas and Guatemala. Despite the day to day struggles of the people in those places, I have never met people who are more beautiful in spirit, generosity and kindness as the people I came to know in that region.
Gracias, your lessons are excellent! It helps me remember forgotten proper Spanish speaking form, since this was first language from my Mexican mother.
Gracias para su trabajo duro en estes videos…. Su forma de enseñando es muy agradable y ayudando😅… Espero que sus viajes a Guatemala son muy agradable!!
Just when I thought I was gaining ground speaking Spanish. I sat down next to 3, or 4 Spanish girls at work in the break room and I could overhear everything they were saying. I couldn’t keep up at all! It’s frustrating but I realize I’m still very far from being able to hang in real life conversations with native speakers. But I’ll get there! Thanks Ana!
I’m binge watching your entire channel because I love your teaching style and I’ve learned so much from the 10 or 12 videos I’ve seen so far! You’re the college Spanish professor I wish I had had! I love how you drop into Spanish so naturally then clarify in English. I think I learn as much from that as from the formal lesson you’re giving. I can honestly say you take me from a beginner intermediate to an advanced intermediate student of Spanish I just subscribed to your newsletter. I hope you have a great trip and I’m looking forward to your on-location videos. Maybe next time I’ll leave a comment en español. 😊
You are the Greatest Spanish teacher in the world and one could say that you are the Greatest Spanish teacher EVER...and I want to make this Comment that is suitable for English and Spanish...in the US we will never speak proper English or the QUEEN ENGLISH...and same to in Mexico we will never Speak the Spanish from Spain. I know you teach Spanish and the Proper way to use each Word but in our daily life is this such importance? There is so much Slang in both languages and few and fewer people speak either language very proper. I trust everything you say and teach but my thought about something things is I live in a part of Mexico where people use alot of Slang and it's part of the community. Sometimes I think language and speech may be best suited based on the environment
Thankyou for another helpful lesson. Have you ever heard this proverb “ faithful are the wounds of a friend”? “ the kisses of an enemy are deceitful “?
