Reminds me of the old school way of restoring the body/glass to an automotive. These days all parts are simply replaceable. Years ago, my dad owned an old school Body Shop/Auto glass installation. I watched him do amazing things to restore an old, mistreated/forgotten vehicle to its former glory. These videos are fascinating! Thank you.

Loved this. I just picked up a pair of of Ferragamo bow shoes identical to those and a pair of peep toes, from the shoe repair. He had fixed the heels but the patent leather has dulled some. I’m really excited to restore them. I’ve had both pairs for more than 20 years. Now they won’t look like it.

Habe per Zufall Ihre Videos gefunden und finde es erstaunlich, wie Sie den Zustand der Schuhe wieder herstellen. Eine Schuhreparatur (Sohle, Absatz) in meinem Land lohnt sich nicht, da die Reparatur den Wert der Schuhe übersteigt. Erstaunt war ich, dass Sie Spezialkleber aus Köln verwenden. 😊

Just curious as to why you didn’t film the patent leather being airbrushed? That would have been great to watch. I’m disappointed that you omitted it.
Would have at least sanded and polished the sole, before the repaint, the wear was evident.
