No friends Nekros here. Ever since I saw the previous Atlas video and was made aware of the power of Ore Gaze I realized it could be subsumed onto the OG farming frame. So I've been trying to create the optimal build that could handle steel path while still maintaining 400% strength. I mean Nekros already creates Infinite energy via Equillibrium and Desecrate so the idea of an Ore Gaze Nekros sounds optimal on paper. But I gotta say even with the max amount of investment with Tauforged archon shards and Max Arcanes it was really difficult as I kept running into certain problems. Pumping strength that much means your other stats take a hit and further means survivability too which is a no go for Steel Path. And then upping survivability always meant suboptimal levels of strength handicapping the capabilities of the build. I tried lots of things like subsuming Petrify over Nekros's 4 to use precision intensify but that didn't work out in the end. However with the release of Jade Shadows my Nekros Petrify build became fully realized through Arcane Battery. The inclusion of this Arcane solved the energy problem as just slapping on the mod Health Conversion grants Nekros with over 1500 armor pretty much all the time allowing Battery to act like a SUPER Primed Flow in the arcane slot. With this I could remove the 2 Tau blue shards I had for max energy and keep pumping strength with Reds. In the end my Nekros boasts 399% strength while utilizing not one, not two, but 3 whole augment mods. (Despoil, Ore Gaze, and Shield of Shadows). Here is the link to the build if anyones curious. overframe.gg/build/730019/nekros-prime/ore-gaze-nekros-steel-path/ hope this helps someone its a really fun build.
@@exspiravit3335 I have a similar build but I never ran into survivability issues as I already use Adaptation and Shield of Shadows on my steel path nekros build, which heavily benefits from strength; these two mods alone were enough for me to stay in steel path survivals for an hour before things got dicey enough for me to extract. With equilibrium, primed flow and arcane energize slotted in I never saw my energy drop to 0 unless an ancient disruptor latched me; this makes for a build where you have 7 other mod slots and 5 shards available for pumping strength as I see fit. I think Despoil is needed when there’s already reliable ways to gain energy with Nekros.
@@exspiravit3335 I use a similar build as well but with a bit more overkill on the strength to inch into just over 100 on ore gaze and non-negative duration. I don’t actually see Nekros having a survivability issue when you pump strength to the max as Shield of Shadows benefits from it. Running 90%dmg resist from the shadows with Adaption already boosts survivability well into lvl 900 before things get dicey for me. As for energy issues, all that’s really needed is Equilibrium and Primed Flow to sustain energy for Desecrate (Arcane Energize helps a ton tho with upkeeping his shadows for the DR.) Equilibrium on Nekros makes Despoil near redundant as well in my opinion; this leaves 5 mod slots and 5 shard slots for pumping strength and adjusting other power stats to boot. I will admit your build has higher survivability than mine making it quite valid for those who want to farm into lvl1200+

the petrify changes are the result of the Freeze status change, as frozen enemies were changed to be ragdoll-able freeze and petrify share code so the changes affected petrified enemies too
As someone who has done the full 5k hema farm, Terrorem is far better for farming mutagen samples than Zabala. This is because mutagen samples are rarer on Eris than on Deimos, I don't have the exact numbers but you can see it when looking at the "resource drones" tab on each planet, on Deimos they are "uncommon" while on Eris they are "Legendary". So you were actually correct on doing the farm on Deimos as you would have gotten far fewer mutagen samples if you had done it on Eris.
Using most of Zachimo's Atlas setup and x2 Resource booster 35 minutes into the Zabala mission I got entire *4* Mutagen Samples. I got 40 of them within the first 5 minutes on Terrorem and 250 at 35 minutes.
One of the best Warframe videos I've seen ever. Great editing and script. Super interesting too. I will not do any of this farm shit, but the idea of doing it is very cool.
I remember when we only had Hema left in our Ghost Dojo... we just did a survival mission with 3 Nightwatch Napalm Orgis users and a necros and a frost and got the whole thing done in one long mission. Was good fun.
DE change how the "frozen" effect works, so they can be moved with abilities, and the frozen effect means limbo stasis, full 10 stacks of cold, harrow 1st ability, and atlas petrify, because frost and limbo would ruin defense missions with their freeze
small note, for some arcane reason atlas picking up rubble counts as a "healing ability" and triggers archon intensify. its less than umbral intense, but it does save 2 mod slots for other mods
Ran this for my Atlas for the longest time, it's better to just use the Umbral set. Combat Disicpline can't drop your health since landslide forces invulnerability and it gets progressively dangerous (and slow) to let enemies chip at your HP, so Archon Intensify offers less overall for more effort required
That's not power transfer. Power transfer is +100% Amp crit damage and +50% casting speed. Sling strength us +40% strength, which you get from double slinging.

A little late to the show, but there is an arcane called Camisado for your Atlas, 60% Ability Strength for 10 minion hits (resets every minion cast). Give up Arcane Battery for Camisado and Blind Rage for Transient Fortitude, you won yourself 16% Strength and more energy to work with. I looked into a Bellicose setup too but you'd be lacking energy, unless giving up Battery for Bellicose is worth giving up 2 Tau red shards for 150 Max Energy through 2 Tau blue shards.

Unironically buying the Tome mods is a really good idea. Significantly cheaper than off of warframe market, and worth skipping the HORRENDOUS grind. Also, zachmo my friend, should have gone with Madurai for a further 40% power strength. A little bit more upkeep, I know, but le optimal :). You can also mod high combo duration on your dagger so you only need to swing on occasion to maintain the 12x.

RIP charm, I once had a double resource weekend where I grinded out void traces. I don't know what the math behind it was, but my cat gave me multiple resource buffs at once and I got 600+ void traces from one relic being opened deep into a excavation run.
This game single handedly made itself the one and only game that I have over 1k hours on. I was addicted and it was not funny considering the quality of the content that’s been coming out in the past couple of years
There was a point in time where the casual Hyena enemy spawns during Razorback missions dropped Orokin Cells like, 90% of the time on death and I just, stayed in these missions for WAY too long at one point until I had about 2k Cells before I just, had enough lmfao.
Equinox has an augment, peaceful provocation, that gives extra strength to the team, so you could achieve more ability strength, up to 30% extra in fact, scaling with strength!
There IS a way to get plat out of farming resources, because you can trade built itzal parts and they cost 4 tellurium for the entire set, problem is people don't buy them enough to be an actual plat farm. There is also built necramechs requiring orokin cells, but they also require other materials so it's not a farm built on farming region resources.
More facts about smeeta’s charm. If you do get a second instance of the 2x resource booster. The 2nd instance of charm, its time wont be another 156 seconds (or 120) the 2nd charm’s time will be of whats remaining
There are a few things throuout the video that could use a slight change First off: awesome job on the atlas tech video. Really appreciate the time and effort that was put into this video. Maybe it had ao much time put into it that it was before some of these updates? (But the part with Spare parts mod makes me think otherwise) The smeeta kavat is out of date and no longer gives it's boost, it's through a separate mod menu for any beast. With that in mind, what beast could support you better? Jade. Jade could have replaced equinox for a higher strength output by nearly double. I know it's your last farming, video, so you probably don't care, but this is also for other people to take note
There is one thing that you missed that is really important. The power strength bonus from cracking a relic is a final multiplier. If you were to have Nidus and Equinox recast while under the effects of this buff, you should be able to hit over 600% bonus loot. Also, I'm not sure why you so quickly dismissed the bonuses from Protea's passive and Precision Intensify. You might be able to go even higher. If you wait for a double loot weekend, that would be still another final multiplier.
A couple of build suggestions: Madurai focus school gives you a 40% power strength boost after a few void dashes. You can pair this in a team with somebody running zenurik for hardened wellspring for another 20%. The gorgon synergy is cool, but the Rauta shotgun gives you combo count on hit. If you build this for fire rate and multi shot you can build to 12x in a few seconds.
This needs a revisit imo. With jade shadows and 1999 out and the changes that come with it (and frames) it would be nice to see how jade would be best optimized to work with atlas
Ive had plenty of fun testing max duration ivara farming and high pwr strength atlas. He is my favorite to use in kuva survival, because of the additional canisters, loot and support drops he can generate. Another reason I like him is you can drop a bulwark directly on top of the support tower, like a mini snowglobe, to absorb incoming damage. In conjunction with the distraction provided by his rumblers, 1 hour kuva survivals are comfortable even in pubs.
Mutagen Samples are considered Rare Drop on Eris, Uncommon on Deimos, so Terrorem might still be the better choice. Enjoyed the vid, will definitely try the Atlas farming method
I’m liking this videos for the sole reason of learning that something like Precision Intensify exists. Oh, wait, I already liked it, and I can’t like it twice. Great video!
20:02 side note, nekros desecrate is the only farming ability to work on silver grove specters. at least that's how it was when i went farming them a few years ago.
Im late to the video but it interested me greatly. I did not know ore gaze was a thing. However after watching some of the video I had some thoughts of my own. I don't quite think atlas is the best user of petrify or is optimal when it comes to farming. I think it's protea, whomst you briefly covered. I also think if the squad is changed up a little bit the return value for Ore Gaze is significantly better. After watching 11 minutes of the video this is what I cam up with: The squad will consist of: Protea (who is running ore gaze) Nidus Equinox and either Khora, Hydroid, or Nekros (Technically nekros is the potentially best option but assuming protea is using her turrets to maximize kill rate it is counter intuitive). Base bonus across entire squad: 235% Base Power Strength: 100% Equinox Calm/ Frenzy aug: 80% Power Donation: 30% Growing Power: 25% (not required on Equinox on chosen 4th frame) Nidus Build: 285% Blind Rage: 99% All Umbral mods: 77% Transient Fortitude: 55% Augar Secrets: 24% Amar's Hatred: 15% Power Drift: 15% Protea Build: 398% Passive: 100% Blind Rage: 99% Precision Intensify: 90% Transient Fortitude: 55% Augar Secrets: 24% Amar's Hatred: 15% Power Drift: 15% Protea w/ all buffs applied: 763% This is without extra resources like tau forged shards and molt augmented If you do end up applying those to their max value you add 135% power strength to both Nidus and Protea (as they're the only ones who would benefit). That being said the new power strength value for nidus would be 420% + 235% (655%). This means that protea's new power strength value is 931%. This not only lasts 48 seconds but is infinitely refreshable as long as nidus has stacks.
The atlas petrify change also affected other frames with similar freezing abilities like limbo who can now pull enemies through the rift with a subsume, nautilus or moa grav grenade.
I just made an ore gaze nekros 2 days ago with petrify taking over the 4th slot. It works really well as long as you have equilibrium, primed flow, and arcane grace with armor shards or some other way to survive.
*Insert **_"Nice opinion, one small issue..."_** frog meme.* - Madurai sling strength buff - Fissure double strength and range buff when relic cracks (pick only 1 weapon to trigger it often on the frame) - Nidus specter for the strength buff for solo players - Resourceful retriever (charm change (I know this was 3 months ago now)) - Spare parts with Manifold bond and Diriga arc coil - Chesa with retrieve mod is another option, if you don't want Nekros - Amalgam ripkas true steel with Nekros for extra gore chance - Energy conversion for more atrength - Possibly ember petrify, because of her strength scaling with enemies on fire inside her affinity range - Sahasa dig mod (if you don't need ammo, energy or hp, it digs out mods)
I have a friend who does that very rhing with nekros-- Petrify Ore Gaze on nekros 4. He actually uses health conversion for armor and rolling guard to cleanse. Nekros is his main, and he has many builds for different things. In fact, it hurts to see how he makes Nekros into a better support than the go to support frame, Trinity. (my old main.) Seriously, you dont need shield of shadows on him if you have despoil augment + health conversion.
18:00 (I havent played in 8 months and the last time i played I found weirdness with this interaction so not sure if it changed) The nidus Ability strength increases is dependent on each players own power strength Link acts more as a buff than a actual link. So nidus will get a % strenght buff based of his own strength and the ally will also get a % strength buff based on said allys strength So, with the invigoration, it's likely a lot more than you stated in the video.
try give a speed nova with either decoy or resonator with the augment to keep it still, to charm enemy into coming into the kill zone. found it works well.
I think optimal squad setup post komei is going to be atlas, nidus, jade, and a speed nova. Edit for additional input because I watched the rest of the video: I think your two direlect runs were more because of the spawns of that tile you picked to camp in. With enemies not spawning properly, it lowered the drops. There's even a difference in spawn rate with the frame rate of the host because of the spaghetti code that holds this game together.
For the hydriod focused group. Make hydriod negative range and get a nekroos with max range and give him pull to pull everyone into the tenticals. Then the atlas can work his magic
just a quick update (due to next big update on october 2nd). we now have jade that has a flat percentage strength boost ons its 2nd ab and after October 2nd smeeta will no longer give the resource buff but can rather be applied to any beast companions via a certain mod. IMO jade could give more flat strength then equinox and its more energy economy (since its a toggle ab with duration and can buff itself on next cast)
Try subsuming decoy onto nekros, and if the decoy dies too much, use Loki to safeguard switch the decoy. Decoy gets max aggro from enemies, to the point enemies will ignore defense objectives. Obviously, put the decoy into hydroids ten tackles.
since the companion change what im abt to say is outdated but if you dont bring a primary/secondary/ both the charm options for those get removed from the pool so resource is more likely to proc
i'll admit to 2k ish without me putting much effort towards farming, but that's because of using gabii as the gear levelling spot, 20 to 30 minute run minimum for 745 unique pieces of gear and 600 used forma and counting

I haven't watched the video yet but oh my god I've been longing, waiting, yearning, for this video since watching moneypunch the day it came out!
There are a few things throuout the video that could use a slight change
First off: awesome job on the atlas tech video. Really appreciate the time and effort that was put into this video. Maybe it had ao much time put into it that it was before some of these updates? (But the part with Spare parts mod makes me think otherwise)
The smeeta kavat is out of date and no longer gives it's boost, it's through a separate mod menu for any beast. With that in mind, what beast could support you better?
Jade. Jade could have replaced equinox for a higher strength output by nearly double.
I know it's your last farming, video, so you probably don't care, but this is also for other people to take note
Pro Tip : Set Atlas Landslide to Mouse Wheel ✊🗿
There is one thing that you missed that is really important. The power strength bonus from cracking a relic is a final multiplier. If you were to have Nidus and Equinox recast while under the effects of this buff, you should be able to hit over 600% bonus loot. Also, I'm not sure why you so quickly dismissed the bonuses from Protea's passive and Precision Intensify. You might be able to go even higher. If you wait for a double loot weekend, that would be still another final multiplier.
A couple of build suggestions:
Madurai focus school gives you a 40% power strength boost after a few void dashes.
In conjunction with the distraction provided by his rumblers, 1 hour kuva survivals are comfortable even in pubs.
here In b4 the next "Petrify-Jade" video drops
1:22 i think my brainrot is too far gone....
Let’s hawk tuah’t
Was not anticipating hearing Sentry's killing spree theme from Awesomenauts at 9:45
1. where jade 2. u can buy the grimoire mods in the market hehe :3
the best part is this could get even higher
I'm so glad that SOMEONE showcased this old ass augment
Mutagen Samples are considered Rare Drop on Eris, Uncommon on Deimos, so Terrorem might still be the better choice.
Enjoyed the vid, will definitely try the Atlas farming method
that atlas fashion slaps
I’m liking this videos for the sole reason of learning that something like Precision Intensify exists.
Oh, wait, I already liked it, and I can’t like it twice. Great video!
truly you've inspired me to farmmax by warframe youtubing thank you zachmo
The octopath traveler ost with atlas goes insane
20:02 side note, nekros desecrate is the only farming ability to work on silver grove specters. at least that's how it was when i went farming them a few years ago.
Im late to the video but it interested me greatly. I did not know ore gaze was a thing. However after watching some of the video I had some thoughts of my own. I don't quite think atlas is the best user of petrify or is optimal when it comes to farming. I think it's protea, whomst you briefly covered.
I also think if the squad is changed up a little bit the return value for Ore Gaze is significantly better.
After watching 11 minutes of the video this is what I cam up with:
The squad will consist of:
Protea (who is running ore gaze)
Nidus
Equinox
and either Khora, Hydroid, or Nekros
(Technically nekros is the potentially best option but assuming protea is using her turrets to maximize kill rate it is counter intuitive).
Base bonus across entire squad: 235%
Base Power Strength: 100%
Equinox Calm/ Frenzy aug: 80%
Power Donation: 30%
Growing Power: 25% (not required on Equinox on chosen 4th frame)
Nidus Build: 285%
Blind Rage: 99%
All Umbral mods: 77%
Transient Fortitude: 55%
Augar Secrets: 24%
Amar's Hatred: 15%
Power Drift: 15%
Protea Build: 398%
Passive: 100%
Blind Rage: 99%
Precision Intensify: 90%
Transient Fortitude: 55%
Augar Secrets: 24%
Amar's Hatred: 15%
Power Drift: 15%
Protea w/ all buffs applied: 763%
This is without extra resources like tau forged shards and molt augmented
If you do end up applying those to their max value you add 135% power strength to both Nidus and Protea (as they're the only ones who would benefit). That being said the new power strength value for nidus would be 420% + 235% (655%). This means that protea's new power strength value is 931%. This not only lasts 48 seconds but is infinitely refreshable as long as nidus has stacks.
You could also throw on roar for funny numbers instead of ore gazr
The atlas petrify change also affected other frames with similar freezing abilities like limbo who can now pull enemies through the rift with a subsume, nautilus or moa grav grenade.
I just made an ore gaze nekros 2 days ago with petrify taking over the 4th slot. It works really well as long as you have equilibrium, primed flow, and arcane grace with armor shards or some other way to survive.
❤ Thank you for doing this Atlas video
i have been waiting this day!!!
Yooo i love it. Your content is soooo goood ty mate
Use specters for buff like nidus specter
And also madurai also give strength and cast speed if u really need it
2:40 no but seriously, what did Gauss do?
Right??? Leave my poor boy alone 😭😭
*Insert **_"Nice opinion, one small issue..."_** frog meme.*
- Madurai sling strength buff
- Fissure double strength and range buff when relic cracks (pick only 1 weapon to trigger it often on the frame)
- Nidus specter for the strength buff for solo players
- Resourceful retriever (charm change (I know this was 3 months ago now))
- Spare parts with Manifold bond and Diriga arc coil
- Chesa with retrieve mod is another option, if you don't want Nekros
- Amalgam ripkas true steel with Nekros for extra gore chance
- Energy conversion for more atrength
- Possibly ember petrify, because of her strength scaling with enemies on fire inside her affinity range
- Sahasa dig mod (if you don't need ammo, energy or hp, it digs out mods)
I have a friend who does that very rhing with nekros-- Petrify Ore Gaze on nekros 4.
He actually uses health conversion for armor and rolling guard to cleanse. Nekros is his main, and he has many builds for different things. In fact, it hurts to see how he makes Nekros into a better support than the go to support frame, Trinity. (my old main.) Seriously, you dont need shield of shadows on him if you have despoil augment + health conversion.
I was expecting you to comment about you from the future and i ot it xD that made me smile.
Subsume onto khora and use with pilfering strangle dome along with a nidus to buff you. It's how i farm argon crystals quickly.
As an atlas main i highly approve of this message
18:00
(I havent played in 8 months and the last time i played I found weirdness with this interaction so not sure if it changed)
The nidus Ability strength increases is dependent on each players own power strength
Link acts more as a buff than a actual link. So nidus will get a % strenght buff based of his own strength and the ally will also get a % strength buff based on said allys strength
So, with the invigoration, it's likely a lot more than you stated in the video.
Charm also did get reworked now
alternatively, your nekros can play as Jade, who has another Strength boosting ability for the squad, if you wanted more for some reason.
Partitio, the merchant is the one song i will recognise anywhere.
try give a speed nova with either decoy or resonator with the augment to keep it still, to charm enemy into coming into the kill zone. found it works well.
Cool video, I'll have to revisit Atlas sometime now
I think optimal squad setup post komei is going to be atlas, nidus, jade, and a speed nova.
I did my waiting!!! Twelve years of it!!!
just a quick update (due to next big update on october 2nd). we now have jade that has a flat percentage strength boost ons its 2nd ab and after October 2nd smeeta will no longer give the resource buff but can rather be applied to any beast companions via a certain mod. IMO jade could give more flat strength then equinox and its more energy economy (since its a toggle ab with duration and can buff itself on next cast)
I've been waiting for this.
imagine a Warframe RP Series or something like the intro.
Darn it Zach, I told you not to make me play farming Atlas, now I have to do it again
Try subsuming decoy onto nekros, and if the decoy dies too much, use Loki to safeguard switch the decoy. Decoy gets max aggro from enemies, to the point enemies will ignore defense objectives. Obviously, put the decoy into hydroids ten tackles.
3:25 Neon White OST spotted!!
I enjoyed the the sentry x 58 theme in the video
as one of the 7 atlas maxers, this pleases me
Lets go, atlap pocketmoney vision build.
Also, Im always happy to say: petrified enemies allways count as killed by slash for necros ability
I really hope you read this and try the subsume on Jade
since the companion change what im abt to say is outdated but if you dont bring a primary/secondary/ both the charm options for those get removed from the pool so resource is more likely to proc
6:45 calling _everyone_ out with this one.
i'll admit to 2k ish without me putting much effort towards farming, but that's because of using gabii as the gear levelling spot, 20 to 30 minute run minimum for 745 unique pieces of gear and 600 used forma and counting
