  • This is an inspirational video dedicated to all DIY weekend warriors, this video is not for professional landscapers. I just want to inspire you, almost everything around your house is DIYable!
As part of the DIY Deck #Azek series, I am going to show you how to transport rocks and boulders you bought from the hardscape supply company using the #Honda #Ridgeline. Not only you can save the delivery fee but you get a good work out. With 1,500 lb payload, you should be able to get some decent quality rocks/boulders. Anyone like "Honda Pilot with a bed"? I do, that's exactly what I need.
Correction: It should be 2x10x16 not 2x8x16

the Ridgeline gets so much slack for being a real truck, but you proved them wrong!!! I see so many F150 in Texas with nothing in the back.

Interested on what is the dolly you used? I just don't want to buy one only to have issues mid way on the project. The one you used appears to dependable to move the rocks I already have on-site. BTW I really Luv your Zen Garden. That's why I'm inspired to create one.

Sorry I haven't had time to make the video on zen garden yet... I promise I will. Life is way too busy (I do have a full time job :) For the dolly question, it's a regular cheap hand truck. However, if you want to haul BIG boulder or huge load, I suggest this one Made in USA. Check out my video on how to move the BBQ grilling station to my backyard using the 1000 lb load hand truck. You can get similar products in your local hardware store.

Good grief. I moved over 10,000 pounds of rock for my koi pond. And I picked up bigger rocks than what you were moving around like they were big.
