- A low-tech way to move a big rock from the back yard to the front yard.
Edit, 2/26/22.
I'm amazed at the amount of interest this video has garnered in a little less than two years: 22,540 views, 45 comments and 232 likes. When I made it, I wouldn't have expected more than a few dozen views.
It's not meant as a serious how-to video, but was something I did to help pass the time during the pandemic lockdown, when I had to stay home for two months. It's a distant memory now, but in the spring of 2020, to help control the pandemic, the governor of Pennsylvania ordered all non essential businesses to close and restricted road travel to essential workers. As a home inspector, my business was considered non-essential. So I decided to move two rocks from the back yard to the front yard, using only what I had on hand.
This was the funniest most nerve racking video I have seen in RUclips in a long time. Great job!
Archimedes and his wife, got to love this video for the complete insanity of the task. This is the neighbor we and America all need.
I have been a landscaper for 25 years and have moved many a large Boulder by primitive methods. My favorite method is to roll a Boulder up to 600 pounds into a wheel barrow, and then pull the wheelbarrow back up. This guy is greet, anything is possible with brains and determination.
All hail the wheel barrow!
I’m impressed. And with no limbs lost!
This had more chills and thrills per minute than any Hollywood movie. And thank goodness a happy ending to boot.
A lot of hand trucks have hard plastic wheels. I was afraid the wheel would break or come off and topple that onto his leg. She would not be able to get it off if that happened. Due to the risk of that, it wasnt worth trying without some other helpers around. I guess his had metal wheels and possibly being on grass helped absorb it a bit. Nice work, a little too risky for just the pair of workers. Great pose at the end!
This was great! Definitely took perseverance and patience as well, and great teamwork! Amazed it went as well as it did... that's one tough little hand cart! And glad you both didn't get hurt!
Looks like their relationship is rock solid.
There's nothing a man and his Pittsburg floor jack can't get done!
You two are amazing 😂. Good job!
That is an absurdly large stone to be on that hand truck. I cant believe the wheels didnt just slice into the ground up to the axel :) Good job! lol
Those poor little bearings, if they even exist. Maybe it's a geo and the rock is actually hollow? Or, maybe the grass is actually concrete that's been sprayed green?
Glad no one got hurt. I was holding my breath as you and wife rounded that corner. It looked like the hand truck rolled over a tree root causing the rock to sway. Well executed. You had a plan and it worked.
We have 3-4 smaller ones (about a third to half the size of yours) to move, and you've given me lots of ideas!
I admire your stubbernness to make this happen. The fact that you decided you would do it and saw it through to the end ! Well Done - Impressive !
I admire his lawn tractor
Who else was anticipating hurt ? Amazing
Great job!
Yall are so cute. If you had one piece of wisdom for all the youngsters out there to have a healthy, happy, long lasting relationship, what would that be?
That was the cutest video. I don't know how they built the pyramids, but they had to have had a husband/wife team like you guys!
Dude you are my hero. Trying to move a slightly larger rock that is buried in my backyard this weekend.
slightly smaller rock whoops. Got it moved though!
Good stuff .... and a very good helper and model you have there....
Enjoyed watching this ingenuity and determination. You guys made it look easy!
Where’s all those ancient alien ufo builders when ya need them, ……scared the crap out of me watching him walk behind that Barbie size hand truck with a wobbly 1/2 ton of boulder…at this speed, they’ll never get Toto back to Kansas
love this, you guys rock !
i love this video so much
Lots of good ideas in this video, thanks.
Great job... enjoyed watching your video...
I’m impressed!
A little determination and it’s amazing what you can accomplish! Nice job people 👍
Great job. Great team.
Amazing! Bravo! I want one of those two wheelers, absolutely indestructible..
Not indestructible... just very blame lucky
Buy your mower a set of tire chains and you're welcome.
Inspired
Trying to pry an onion out of my yard right now
I did the same thing, worked great. Although the rock was the size of a watermelon. Nice job.
Good team work mate

That looked easy
With a "wlling wife," a man can do anything!
She was REALLY hauling some donkey at 11:30 to 12:00 mark.
did you double-check your wife's insurance policy before you asked her to do this?
Wow... how long is that Boulder? 3’ or more? 😳👏
it much be at least 5' or 5.5' wide bc its as wide as she is tall
10:50 какой то камушек подозрительный ...не гранит точно.
could roll it on round poles
😂😂
I finally hit the wall and my military injuries caught up so I crunched the numbers and with Medical’s and prescriptions and hiring militant illegals wanting 30 an hour, and pretending I was some great Mayan or Ancient Egyptian pyramid builder, it was easier to rent a skid loader for a couple hundred and complete in a day what would take weeks or even a month in vegas heat
Thought I tuned into an episode of "Rescue 911".... I guess boredom in your golden years and loss of judgement is inevitable..
dont you have neighbor with tractor ?
Because everyone has at least one neighbor with a tractor. Lol obviously not
JCB hire with driver ten minutes work no energy lost
