What do you do when your phone doesn’t pick up the WiFi network off the camera. The camera is connected to my WiFi but I can’t connect my phone to the camera as it isn’t there in networks.

I like these cameras but one bad thing about it is when the alarm goes off on the unit it doesn't send any type of indication to your phone to let you know that the alarm is going off. For example I put the Wi-Fi camera in my window and pointed toward my dog cage and set the alarm in front of it to let me know if my dog get out. my dog got out but I didn't hear the alarm because I was somewhere else in the house and not in the same room that the Wi-Fi camera was in
*Official Review* The cord that comes with it is trash use a real plug for it to work good, Came with a sim tool (the little tool to remove a sim from a phone) but there is no use for it, the reset button can be pressed with finger, Proving these Chinese people only care for the money, The motion detection is pointless, its detection sensitivity is extreme and detects nothing so the alerts are non stop, The touch to speak isn't very good either, Would be cool if you could edit the siren noise as a feature, But other than that it works I guess and is a decent camera, Haven't figured out if you can use it on a computer. (without a emulator of course) If anyone has any questions ill be more than happy to answer it.
Red light? You mean the IR lights around the camera lens? That is normal operation, if the entire thing is glowing red you might have aliens living in it

if you had an SD card installed and was recording you could watch the stored video, other than that call your phone and ask the thief to return it.........or buy yourself another phone
My phone is android.. but the thing (camera) refuses to enter my network... (probably an IP matter.. since the camera is in the 192.168.1.x range and my modem/router in the 192.168.2.x range.) Unfortunately my ISP locked the IP range of the modem/router and I don't have a clue to get bot items to start communicating with another :(
Same problem here, have one since 6 months and never got past establishing an Access Point connection. No image, no connection to my home network possible. I guess you get what you pay for with this camera and that's crap...
@@pierregielen137 - It took me 12 hours ( on & off) to make it work. Too long, I would have paid someone to do the job. Anyway when ALL requirements are met, it works well. You WIFI connection is the hardest part to manage.
Nica Go to this website and download the Windows file (Win7 and up) www.av380.cn/index.htm pretty much follow the steps as you would connect to a WiFi source on Windows After you make the WiFi connection Then go the V380 program
@@AvdheshSharma8 Well giving considerable thought I suppose you could use it without wifi but the range would be very limited. You would have to set it up as an AP (access point) then connect to it and view it but you would not be able to access the internet or email at the same time because you would only be connected to the camera and getting your IP address from it.
These camera's are fine, great for the price.... Install the right app , plug it in and go to wifi settings , click on the camera name and numbers, go to settings and change to your home wifi name and BINGO.....

You can use this software at this link, malwarebytes flags it as malware however it is a false positive and have never had any problems with it. v.360eye.cc/360eye_en.html I no longer have one of these cameras as I have upgraded to a pro grade camera. These are just nice little toys to watch your child. But they do work for the novice user
not sure what you mean by not wifi, it will need the wifi to watch it from work, you need to port forward port 5050 on your router and use NVCMS_LITE for PC and know your WAN IP
If you do a software update (firmware) via your phone it will stop functioning in IR mode, but don't think that is supposed to happen, quite frankly I like and need the IR function. My camera is installed in a glass box outside and I lost the IR mode because I thought maybe it would improve things. Silly me
There are lots of apps that call themselves this kind of thing. Why not link to the one we need in Google Play. The on the leaflet that came with my device does not look like this one.

My camera went into landfill years ago because I could not replicate the success depicted in this video. The simple addition of a link to the specific app used would have made this video worthwhile. Useless camera, straight out of the box it just says "System Installing", can't get the app to connect to WiFi, can see the camera on WiFi...waste of money for me anyhow

it's not supposed to connect to a pc , it connects to modem/router, on your home network then you view and control it with a smartphone not a desktop, if you want use a desktop you need to install software on it that will allow android or ios apps to be installed

What if I dont to use an app. I want to access from web browser using the IP address. How can I get the ip address. Can you help me with it? I tried using netstat -a, arp -a. Tried all the IPs in local network. But it seem this camera doesnot even have a web UI. DO you have any idea about it?

Use Wireshark to locate the camera on the network, it will also show the RTSP link address
