Tne Newton Says No Independent candidates ask you to send a message that the political establishment can't just take people for granted. Brushed off as a noisy rabble and described as anarchists yesterday by Tory Group Leader Cllr Phil Bullivant, the NSN Independent candidates include a former Devon and Cornwall Police Chief Inspector, a comedian and journalist (who is the son of anti-corruption Detective Inspector) and a former Principal of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. The three candidates are passionate campaigners and already local councillors - Liam and Janet are Teignbridge District Councillors and Jane recent joined Kingskerswell Parish Council.
