This is a Great vid. Grew up listening to 3 Dog Nights version. Of after this performance, I have no desire for 3 Dogs Night version.

I loved Leo back on the 70’s but unfortunately I saw in a program in the UK Which showed him with this huge ego, that I can’t now see him in the same light . But it’s all about the music which you can’t fault . As usual a great reaction Todd❤👍

Hi Kim E ... As I mentioned, I do not know much about Leo. I did enjoy this song but I love the Three Dog Night version which made me interested in hearing the original take on the song. You are right, it is about the music because many of our favorite rock stars have these inflated ego's. I think it goes with the territory when you make it big! Take care ... and smile 😊

Ey up Todd. I've missed a few of your reactions as I've been busy with this n that but what a great one to come back to. As usual, really appreciate your informative preamble and the delight on your boat as the song developed. Another memory jerker for me. I loved this song back in the day but haven't heard it since so yep i really enjoyed this reaction. Keep on truckin mate.

Hi Todd, Great song ! Listening to Leo takes me right back to my childhood. My father loved listening to Leo Sayer albums, As you say his vioce was powerful but also his diction was so clear and he could hit very high notes.... It would be great if you could do a deep dive into Leo's discography. A couple of my favourite songs are You Make Me Feel Like Dancing and The Dancer. Thanks.
On another note Todd, I have been listening to Sam Ryder from the UK for the last year. Have you heard of him before? His career and popularity has really started to take off here and he has been nicknamed the voice by the media. I would loved to hear your opinion on the song Tiny Riot by Sam Ryder the live acoustic version on RUclips is Amazing. Thanks again.

This performance, the whole of this show, is so well done it makes the rest of his career look like an underachievement. No that he did badly, but I think he could have been more art and less pop if things had worked out differently.

I read that Leo DID NOT like the 3 Dog Night version.

He did not like that they change the last phrase in the song replacing it by 'I must let the show go on' instead of 'I won't let the show go on'. That goes contrary to the meaning of the song for Sayer i think.
