The actor did a excellent job in this scene. You could feel him realizing the truth.
Not only the actor but the visual language in this scene is outstanding.
Notice how in the first couple of shots before he fully realised we look at him from a slightly low angle. Then after he has fully realised we are looking down at him from a high angle, making him apear weaker and vulnerable. Also the fact that he looks up at the bags and the bags look down on him because they own his wife is absolutely beautiful film language at its finest.

He is a rich man married to a popular weather forecaster. As a TV personality, and a rich man they are considered by many as a perfect couple. He loves her dearly and she seems to feel the same.
In the past a rich violent boy who knew her past offered to marry her but she chose this man, because he is richer and better fit due to his perfect image as a businessman, and higher status in the society.
But in the past, the weather forecaster was a bad girl in a highschool for rich kids, at that time she is a bully who enjoys torturing poor classmates, she even ask all of her friends to join her in hurting a poor girl, there was a violent boy in that group who accepts her as a violent girl who hurt others. Their friend group tortured a girl and accidentally killed her.
They were not affected by the death of that tortured student, they decided to look for a replacement. They started to bully Song He Kyos character burning her with flat iron and physically hurting her daily, Song Hye Kyo reported to the school head and she was ignored, the report she filed was then ignored as her mother was paid off to keep quiet. She was expelled. Song Hye Kyo worked so hard for her revenge. FAST FORWARD to present, she has enough money and comnections and completely plotted a revenge that will desstroy the life of those who hurt her. One of the collateral damage was this man. Song Hye Kyo made sure he will find out that the lady reporter always goes to the store.He realized that his wife was a bad woman.
His major realization was finding out that whenever her wife goes to this store brand, she most likely had 5£× with the owner of the store who was her bestfriend in highschool, the violent rich boy. This pompted him to wonder if their daughter is his or not.
Both the violent boy and this man's daughter is color blind.

Yes!
The best things about this scene are the actor counting all the bags, the slow realization, and his breakdown after the fact. I also like how the camera shifts from being below the character to above him with his realization; he feels small, insignificant, like his whole world has just come crashing down on him. The one person he loved the most betrayed his trust, his loyalty, and his bond as a husband. He doesn't say a single word, you can read how he feels on his face, and that is some incredible acting. As someone else said, the bags were highlighted so you knew they were there, when previously they were not as visible.
It also showed how flippant his wife was about the affair. She obviously didn't want him to find out but she also didn't fully hide the affair. She could have taken the items out of the bags, hung them up, thrown the blue bags and boxes out in other areas. She has had other people fix her problems so often she couldn't do it for herself. Everything was just out of eye line but once he notices it, he's business man...he goes off of facts and numbers.

It's actually quite common human psychology, lol. Most selfish people do such things in real life too. Not just in tv shows. They twist words, impose their own subjectivity as the absolute objective truths, or make themselves into "victims', present the victims as the "villains" instead, etc etc. it's like there's a fixed and very predictable pattern, all selfish human beings on earth are instinctively programmed to follow every time.
Cheaters do that. If your spouse/S.O keeps accusing you of cheating,you need to be careful because they might be the one thats cheating.

Not exactly how many times she cheated. This was the first time he noticed that in 12years she always went to the same shop SIESTA for her shopping. It was all infront of him all these years but the first time he noticed them and that made his suspicions 100x. Eventually connecting the dots about the shop, its owner, his wife and his daughter.
we see her telling him that the dressing room is too small and he can't go in with her. I think here he's just taking in exactly how expansive the room was, and realising that his wife could have been cheating on him every time they went there together and she disappeared into the dressing room.

The cool thing about this scene is that the bags were ALWAYS there, you can see them in earlier scenes in the closet, but the saturation or lighting was waaaay down. For this scene, they ramped up the saturation and lighting on that blue to make it VERY apparent. WELL DONE!

Guess it won't be your daughter." then later own while talking to her doctor boyfriend, when he wonders whatever happened to Jae Jun, she tells him that it turned out she wasn't the only one who wanted revenge on him, kind of hinting that not only she knew exactly what happened but was also in on the plan

He wanted dongeun’s happiness and empathized with her after hearing her side of the story but also wanted to remain loyal to his wife despite how horrible she turned out to be, not to slight dongeun, but to maintain his family. He never once scorned dongeun for tearing his own family apart because that’s essentially what dongeun did. And he put yeseol first even after knowing the child wasn’t his. Even gave expensive wine to his driver. He’s a lot nicer than he comes off as.

This was such a good drama, and this husband was a good character too. He did so well even though I can't really remember seeing him in other dramas but he portrayed this husband role so well. The other guy, the color lind guy, did very well in his role as a villain too.
