My dad was a true leader in our household. He took on a 2nd job to provide not only our needs, but our WANTS also. Once my sister was born, my dad still treated us ALL as if we were his biological children...fabulous protector. He was my HERO!💖 My sister and I was proud and honored to take care of him many years after my mom passed. During his last years of his life I was his primary caregiver, and would do it all again. 💖💖💖💖💖

My grandfather married my grandmother, 3 kids and she had alot of debt. Bought her a home, never had any kids of their own. Raised all the kids, when they died they had been together over 50 years. And they had real relations. Insulting each other every day, comments were daily. I thought it was bad, but they didn't have real fights. They said their minds got it out the system n moved on almost immediately. Today that would be called abuse. Society has gone mad

The most delusional thing is not completely the choice she made, but the lack of accountability and self-awareness for it. When I was single, I dated on 2 occasions single fathers but I knew I had no intention of marrying them. I knew I didn't want my children to compete for their father's attention, time and definitely not resources. It's better for single parents to seek each other out.
I'd say if they are a widow or widower, then that is a harder call. Its where the parents split up because of some reason, then judgement should be used.

Mr, Samuel's advice bridges all races. His advice has made me greatly appreciate my wife. We started dating after I got out of the military without a penny to my name and no plan. She had two kids already, but she worked for years while I went back to college for engineering. She paid the bills, took us on vacation, and I contributed nothing. We got married in my last semester of college, and she paid for our wedding as well. Now I have a high paying job, we have a four month old son, and she sings and laughs all day as a stay at home wife. Mr. Samuel's has made me realize that she put our family first, and I regret that I will never be able to thank him.

I have a brother who has been with a single mother for 8 years he already told her that he will not go through the marriage process, but they can be together. Bit she treats him like a king because she realizes that to single mothers are low value.
I know one. His wife's kids made his life a living Hell for decades including violence. Now, they're moved out. She had two kids already, but she worked for years while I went back to college for engineering. She paid the bills, took us on vacation, and I contributed nothing. We got married in my last semester of college, and she paid for our wedding as well. Now I have a high paying job, we have a four month old son, and she sings and laughs all day as a stay at home wife. My brother married a single mother. She treated my brother like trash to the point where he became suicidal. She didn’t want my brother’s son around and demanded he treated her child as his own. She became physically abusive and he eventually divorced her.
I have a brother who has been with a single mother for 8 years he already told her that he will not go through the marriage process, but they can be together. Bit she treats him like a king because she realizes that to single mothers are low value.

My father met my mother when he was childless in his early 20's. She had 3 young children and on welfare. For the life of me, I am speechless on why he ever chose to get involved with her. She is not a good person and even less grateful. He should not have done this. I wish he was alive so I could ask him what was going through his head to do something like that. I think about this often.
