My step dad who raised me and my 2 other siblings was the best dad we could ask for. My mom had no issues in him disciplining us, and would never interfere in how he handled it. My dad was a true leader in our household. He took on a 2nd job to provide not only our needs, but our WANTS also. Once my sister was born, my dad still treated us ALL as if we were his biological children...fabulous protector. He was my HERO!💖 My sister and I was proud and honored to take care of him many years after my mom passed. During his last years of his life I was his primary caregiver, and would do it all again. 💖💖💖💖💖

I certainly feel like a household runs a lot more smooth when a single parent raises their children to respect their step parent and only foster a good relationship with their ex's new husband, it certainly builds a stronger child when they dont have to worry about adult things.
My grandfather married my grandmother, 3 kids and she had alot of debt. Bought her a home, never had any kids of their own. Raised all the kids, when they died they had been together over 50 years. And they had real relations. Insulting each other every day, comments were daily. I thought it was bad, but they didn't have real fights. They said their minds got it out the system n moved on almost immediately. Today that would be called abuse. Society has gone mad

How can you be willing to get pregnant at 40 years old by a man who you say "ain't shit" and still chose to risk your life in childbirth to have another of his children? But you won't have a child for a man who's willing to take of 2 other men's kids? She constantly complains about her situation and the females around her coddle her and don't tell her the truth. The most delusional thing is not completely the choice she made, but the lack of accountability and self-awareness for it. When I was in college, a very close friend of mine confided in me that she was planning to deliberately trap her boyfriend. They had both been my friends since high school, I attempted for weeks to talk her out this craziness and to talk to him about her insecurities. I made it my personal effort to NOT bring any children into this world until I am MARRIED. My father married my mother who had kids when they married. I appreciate everything he has done to raise us. He wasnt a HVM according to the world's standards. But he is everything to me. With that being said, You have the right to marry a single mother, yet I would never recommend any single man today to marry a woman with kids. A big difference in when you grew is now is that ppl dont want others to discipline their kids. When I was single, I dated on 2 occasions single fathers but I knew I had no intention of marrying them. Kids out wedlock has always been happening but it was probably more shame attached to it. Many women don’t see anything wrong with it and try to downplay marriage after becoming a baby mother.

Mr, Samuel's advice bridges all races. His advice has made me greatly appreciate my wife. We started dating after I got out of the military without a penny to my name and no plan. She had two kids already, but she worked for years while I went back to college for engineering. She paid the bills, took us on vacation, and I contributed nothing. We got married in my last semester of college, and she paid for our wedding as well. Now I have a high paying job, we have a four month old son, and she sings and laughs all day as a stay at home wife. Mr. Samuel's has made me realize that she put our family first, and I regret that I will never be able to thank him.
If the single mother has sons especially teenage sons they will interfere anytime you and the single mother have an argument or disagreement. Even if you're not physically attacking the single mother her son will get in your business with the single mother. If you were the biological father of the son, this is something you won't have to worry about because the son would respect your authority as the head of household and not get involved in adult issues. As a step father you won't have total control of the household like a real man desires.

My step dad who raised me and my 2 other siblings was the best dad we could ask for. My mom had no issues in him disciplining us, and would never interfere in how he handled it. My dad was a true leader in our household. He took on a 2nd job to provide not only our needs, but our WANTS also. Once my sister was born, my dad still treated us ALL as if we were his biological children...fabulous protector. He was my HERO!💖 My sister and I was proud and honored to take care of him many years after my mom passed. During his last years of his life I was his primary caregiver, and would do it all again. 💖💖💖💖💖

How can you be willing to get pregnant at 40 years old by a man who you say "ain't shit" and still chose to risk your life in childbirth to have another of his children? But you won't have a child for a man who's willing to take of 2 other men's kids? She constantly complains about her situation and the females around her coddle her and don't tell her the truth. The most delusional thing is not completely the choice she made, but the lack of accountability and self-awareness for it. My father met my mother when he was childless in his early 20's. She had 3 young children and on welfare. For the life of me, I am speechless on why he ever chose to get involved with her. I made it my personal effort to NOT bring any children into this world until I am MARRIED. I cut off a friend because she told me she was pregnant and there was no engagement or wedding ring in sight, just a “promise ring”. I said okay and left her right there because I could see where it was headed and I’m not sticking around for the drama.

When I was single, I dated on 2 occasions single fathers but I knew I had no intention of marrying them. I even have a cousin who has 2 kids, 2 different fathers, never married, and is now dating with a 15-year-old and 2 year old. She's dating a childless man and she wants no more children. The dude she's dating would be fulfilling the role of the biological father, without ever having any biological kids of his own. It's crazy because she doesn't speak highly of the 2 men who impregnated her, but still chose to have their offspring. But, a man who is the stepfather, sacrificing everything, using his time/resources, and footing the bill can't even get 1 kid with her. It's selfish. She had the 1st kid at around 26 and the 2nd kid at 40. Neither of the men are involved with her or the kids. The 1st baby daddy is married and has other kids on the other half of town. My family always puts 100% of the blame on both men for being absent, but, as it usually goes, will say nothing about my cousin's choices with men or properly vetting them. The oldest child has been asking where her father is, why he's not involved, and has resentment toward him. But, all the good credit goes to her mom for being a single mother because "daddy wasn't around and he left us", even though this was a self-imposed situation in the 1st place.
What makes things worse is that she knew her 2nd child's father already had 3 baby mamas before she got pregnant and now she's the 4th baby mama at 42 years old. How can you be willing to get pregnant at 40 years old by a man who you say "ain't shit", wasn't good enough to marry, but you stayed in this 'toxic' relationship long enough to risk your life in childbirth and have a lesser man's 4th illegitimate child? But you won't have a child for a man who's willing to possibly marry you and take of 2 other men's kids? Maybe it's just me, but it makes it seem like she's using him ...because at that point, why not just seek out another single parent who knows what it's like to be a father, already has his own kids, understands your struggle as a single parent, and combine your households together? I don't understand why a woman would let 13 years go by and none of those men you dated in that 13 year gap were suitable candidates between your 1st baby daddy and 2nd baby daddy? She constantly complains about her situation and the females around her coddle her and don't tell her the truth. The most delusional thing is not completely the choice she made, but the lack of accountability and self-awareness for it. It's unfortunate because I bet her kids will grow up to always blame their fathers, but will not hold their mother to the same level of accountability, if at all. She's a part of her children's suffering too, if not more.
