Now that sight brought back some lovely memories! I remember trainspotting at Tamworth as a lad and taking black and white photos of trains flying through just like that, though usually the nonstop trains went through the middle roads. I have shots of Royal Scots and semis but nothing beats a full colour video of a real L.M.S. loco at speed on the West Coast Mainline. Thanks a million for posting it on here!
Thank you very much! I'm very glad to have rekindled those memories for you, must have been quite a sight back in the day with them passing so often. You're very welcome! Regards, Dan
I caught the other tour at stoke works junction with the 47s going as far as Carlisle where it makes way for 35018 to go onwards to Carnforth earlier this morning
0:18 now this is the proper LMS territory especially here on the west coast mainline and unfortunately Bahamas and Galatea are gonna be the only ones still continuing on the mainline thanks to leanders mainline certificate now expired that means leander is gonna be continued the rest of the certificate for visiting heritage lines
That's it Scott, 45596 right at home there. Yes it's a shame to see Leander go but maybe she'll be turned around just as fast as Galatea was. Regards, Dan
I totally agree, it's a shame those boxes are becoming increasingly common on the back. Most operators won't run without them nowadays and I feel like they're being increasingly pushy on the back as well. Regards, Dan

One of best steam shots I've seen lately. Brings back memories of seeing steam out of Euston
Thank you very much and I'm really glad to have brought back some memories! I did think it looked strikingly accurate. Regards, Dan
Lovely shot and beautiful panning

Great shot! I saw her at Rugby.

Great stuff Scott, shame you couldn't see 35018 as she's the only good loco involved on that tour. Regards, Dan
@@crunchynutsteamfilms5043yeah I know Dan

@@crunchynutsteamfilms5043yeah Dan and hopefully once work on Kolophur is done we will turn our attention to this engine once it returns to steam
Beautiful big beasts flying through and then the image totally ruined by a manky, characterless diesel on the back
