Love your channel. The combination of humour and the work you do is fantastic. 👍👍
Glad you enjoy it! 👍🏴
Stunning job brother 👏
Thank you so much 😀 👍🏴
Go vid, nice to see the finished product in action, Hope your recovery is going well, all the very best.
Literally a year ago I built it I even had to re render it for him to speed up the final video for you guys 👍🏴
Nothing better than enjoying that first pizza! Nice job
Cheers Sam shame it took a year for the customer to finish getting it rendered and painted hey 👍🏴
@@tidybrickslandscaping I thought I recognised it from the original video!
@@SamDaviesBuilder yeh but this one had the finished article unlike the last one I was to busy in Tobago to wait 👍🏴
Great job!! 😅 one thing is that the chimney hole is to small for the oven size so smoke is exiting the door way rather than up and out the way of the person cooking face 😢
Yeh totally agree next time I’ll need a bigger one. The customer bought the doors and chimney on this one 👍🏴
Looks brilliant!! How's the rest and recuperation going? Wishing you a speedy recovery
Bloody bored and only 1 week in 11 to go foots quite bruised still and having the cast changed on Thursday 👍🏴
@@tidybrickslandscaping hang in there!! Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery. Take every day as it comes
Great tips and some excellent advice for when i make mine, I won't be following your dough recipe though 😉🤣
Good to follow but not the pastry agree to thin left out to long stuck to plate 👍🏴
Nice one. I watched the long video first. Well worked out . Design and devolopment as you go. Love the 5 p's or was it 6. .... 😂❤❤
I can’t even remember any of them lol 👍🏴
Lovely 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers! Good to see it finally finished 👍🏴
Brilliant i admire how you you just dive in to these unusual products.
Must of taken a lot of time effort and research to do that mate .
Love it 👍👏👌🧱🧱
Na blagged my way through it lol 👍🏴
@tidybrickslandscaping
Maybe but you still got it A 1 scott.
Hope the foot is healing up ok .few weeks you be free of the cast .👍👌
Thanks for showing the final product.
Glad to see the finished project myself 👍🏴
I like the blue colour, it's very mediterranean.
Yeh totally agree looks the biz 👍🏴
Excelente y muy hermoso trabajo felicidades saludos y bendiciones 💪👌
Thx again I’m happy to see the finished project myself 👍🏴
Nice. Very similar to one I built a few years back.
One problem I have is water ingress under the base, it seems under and soaks into the ceramic causing the floor to steam.. takes a day to dry out before using. Wonder how yours works after heavy rain?
Also. Your chimney doesn't seem to be drawing much heat up. I added a taller flue pipe and made a recess inside where the smoke gathers so it doesn't just flow out of the door.
Interesting! To here your response on your experience as for this pizza oven that was a first test of many hopefully so I’ll be interested to see how it goes
And yes to much smoke coming out the door and not the chimney 👍🏴
Love the whole layout how much roughly was overall cost for pizza oven and whole cost of overall pizza bbq kitchen. Love it brilliant job
I did it relatively cheap with mats and labour around £2500 ish 👍🏴
Fantastic pizza oven. What thickness screed did you apply and can you paint directly on to it once dried?
The screed wasn’t as think I thought it might be for the amount supplied for the kit. So it was around 15/20mm I’d say. As yeh when dried paint away 👍🏴
09:13 Smile value watching this!!
Just watched it and yeh totally agree happy day it was 👍🏴
That looks the nuts 👍👍
Takes about 4\5 hrs to warm up though 👍🏴
Looks great mate the only problem is you will lose heat in too the concrete slab through the solider course it should be sat on the fibre board
I’d prefer to build on something solid not on something that’s a fabric to be honest
@tidybrickslandscaping see what you mean that's why you should use cal sil board it's pretty brittle but as a high crush strength
@@leemills1357 to be honest I e just watched other people build em and followed what I saw and I’ve not seen anyone lay there first course on anything but concrete. Heat rises that was enough for me 👍🏴
Looks great, can i ask what tile cutter your using as have 100 sq of porcelain tiles to do at home, also wheres the hat from to avoid the skin big C ! Thanks You
The table saw is called a Zoe 130 especially made for porcelain tile cutting 👍🏴
Just came across your channel, liking what i have seen. Picked up some nice tips for doing my next project, porcelain patio. Question regarding laying porcelain tiles, what do you use for priming the tiles. Do you make your own mix or is it a ready made one you use. What would you recommend to use either a type to buy (brand) or how to mix your own.
Hey Derek glad your enjoying my channel and as for the primer I’ve always buy a ready made primer normally £25 tub or bagged otherwise SBR and cement but this will dry faster then pre made 👍🏴
@@tidybrickslandscaping thanks for the response, if you don't mind me asking is there a brand of primer that you prefer to use/recommend.
DIY'r here just came across all your videos, fantastic stuff. Quick question which I cant seem to find much info on. How do you approach laying porcelain tiles around corners. For example laying a patio at the back of the house with fall away from back door (so 4m out with a 40mm fall). The path down the side of the house is 1.5m wide with the fall away from the house again ( so a fall of 15mm away) , its the classic semi d layout. How do I match up the tiles around the corner? If i keep going across with the tiles at the back of the house (level to 150mm below DPC) there will be a slight lip between tiles at the side of the house which a slight fall (15mm). As it is each tile would only have a fall in one direction, in order to manage this do i need to have the tiles at the corner fall in more than one direction? Does this make sense? Lol! just not something ive seen much on how to approach online and would love your input!
All sounds quite complicated so I’ll try help with a image from a previous video maybe the thumbnail pic might help 👍🏴 ruclips.net/video/It8uhaVS4A8/видео.html&feature=sharea
If you had of gently inflated a gym ball (bouncy ball thing) then just burst it when you have finished. 😂
That was the plan but the ball circumference didn’t match 👍🏴
Brilliant job mate!! I’m currently copying your exact build.
Can I ask how many cement tubs and top screed tubs you got through?
Cheers
Double the amount of cement they sent so about 7/8 ish and 5 for the screed hope that helps and good luck 👍🏴
Oh wow, expensive stuff!! Thanks a lot for letting me know.
@@alexanderwallace1871 for that shape it’s about £600 ish 👍🏴
Great pair of 🤚🖐️
They come in handy now and then 👍🏴
Even though tiles are going up against the lawn what about when it comes to mowing 🤙🏻
Strimmer time Argos 👍🏴
😂
Prince Andrew would be pleased! 😂
How’s that then 👍😂🏴
Sound pit of cooking 🍳 . You can jack in the brick laying. 🥂👍🥩🍄🏴
That would be nice bloody hate laying bricks boring 🥱👍🏴
Right where do I place my order??? 😂🍕
Domino’s lol 👍🏴
Have you got any more pizza ovens coming? Did you enjoy the process? I want to see you refine the process!
I would really like to do another but there not always people wanting them. I did enjoy the process but I don’t think it’s really worth building as it’s so much quicker in the oven all of 10mins of it. Pizza ovens need about 5 hrs to warm up and take a lot of wood in the process but they do look nice though 👍🏴
Nice job, don't use the pizza tray, get it on the bricks 🍕👌
We tried to get the pizza of the tray but it was stuck to it and ripped think it was to thin 👍🏴
@tidybricks I’m laying porcelain tiles do I need a border to stop tiles from chipping 🤙🏻
No the boarder is only there for cosmetics 👍🏴
Even though tiles are going up against the lawn what about when it comes to mowing 🤙🏻
You back work? Though you were off to hospital?
Yeh this was something I prepared before the op it’s a video from last year and I’ve got that extra bit of content people missed of the finished result 👍🏴
What happens to the Door??
Kept filling up with smoke think he needs to buy a bigger chimney ?👍🏴
New business coming tidy bricks pizza
Not a bad idea actually saves doing bloody patios 👍🏴
Tidy mate
Days before the op I managed to see it working finally 👍🏴
@@tidybrickslandscaping spot on mate good luck and the best
@@dannyhogi4953 cheers Dan 👍🏴
Pizza oven looks great, but why you cooking a pizza in a tin pan?? My local kebab shop cooks in a tin can, real pizza should be made on the stone
Basically couldn’t separate from the dish the pastry was to thin 👍🏴
Nice one scott 👍.
Ile have a vegan ,glutton free ,organic non GMO pizza please 😅
Late reply on this one soz and no to that tree hugging bollocks lol 👍🏴
You need to go to pizza school bcause your pizza looks like a piece of plastic 😂
Thanks again I’m so glad you watched it anyways 👍🏴
Not a very effective chimney...
No it’s a bit shit really totally agree 👍🏴
Blows like your ma
Great job!! 😅 one thing is that the chimney hole is to small for the oven size so smoke is exiting the door way rather than up and out the way of the person cooking face 😢
Same again 👍🏴
