Hi Bob, I am a fanatic of ELP since I heard their first music when I was 8. Many years have passed, and for me they are still (and most probably will always be) the very best band ever.
Here is the sad bit: Because he was diagnosed with Parkinsonism, Keith took his own life and now can’t appreciate how his music is now being enjoyed and interpreted. He would have loved this. There was a drive to Keith. I saw it in the interview I had with him. Emerson was the driving force of ELP! I very much miss him.
What an achievement. Really outstanding. They seem to love ELP's music all around the world - apart from the uk of course, where they are still reviled by sections of the music press/media etc. Perish the thought that any of us might remember [and want to possibly re-create] the early 70's.
