A lot of people think tweek is 9-0 on marss, and admittedly that forgiveable since pgstats says that, but it's not actually true. He's 10-0 because for some reason, several momocon 2019 sets don't show up on pgstats, including Tweeks losers finals set with marss, which he won.
marss is the most consistent and well rounded player in smash history. consistently doing decent at pretty much all tournaments, a fantastic content creator, and arguably the biggest smash personality since the fall of panda. congrats to both players for making it to WF’s, and congrats to tweek for taking yet another win (goat)
Bro that banana after the boost kick into flip kick was so crazy and unfortunate bc he slipped from the move’s forward step. Actually made the difference. Great set though
Definitely cope. ZSS is the only character Marss can pilot at the highest level with any consistency. His Joker was lackluster despite practice for months, while other top players have new character at that level within weeks. ZSS isn't the problem, he has the same execution issues with Joker.

Marss has at least like double the amount of experience with ZSS compared to his other characters of course he performs with her the best in a game where consistency is extremely hard.
@@shikarixox1195 His joker did do some weird stuff like SD and miss some punishes (if i were to john for him i'd say its because of how in his head he was about using joker) but there are so many instances are Marss having to regain advantage or other stuff solely because of ZSS' multihits, especially fair 2 whiffs
Zss is a high tier character. Around the same placement on the tier list as wario i would say. Marss just doesn't do as much serious practice as he used to so he falls behind the competition

Games 3 & 4 was the cleanest ZSS play I’ve ever seen in my life. & it’s not even like “hey check out this cool ZSS sequence I’m doing in training mode”, he’s pulling this shit off against Tweek. Great set from both players.
Top player marss is real but it’s always that last read he goes for that he overextends for and gets true punished for. Once he has just that little bit more patience, Marss could win some more grands for sure.

@@aquatazer Marss is definitely getting top results what?? Nobody in Japan even pilots ZSS at a top level. Marss has 7th at lvl up expo, 9th at genesis 9, 9th at the Big House, WON lost tech city, and 9th at Shine as of recent. Literally no other ZSS is doing that, not even Doorstop, he doesn’t even come close.
