Stef Motion BT has the vortex shield of Ion, and machine gun + guided rockets of monarch. Monarch even uses the same Vanguarg chassis that BT uses. So I would argue Monarch is a much closer resemblance to BT.
Here's a tip for ronin: When you're being rodeoed, learn the time it takes to have your battery ripped. Phase right before they snatch your battery, and you will be invincible as they take it, and when you get out of phase shift, they escape with a battery, and you no damage. Doing this leaves you easy pickings and a free battery. I saw Frothy's video on ronin.
Just play Ronin with sword block to block enemy abilities and harrass players trying to attack your teammate, and boom, secsual harrassment is inevitable
An aspect of titanfall 2 that I believe is missing is being unable to talk to your titan. You could bond with your titan so much easier and feel apart of you like BT did in the campaign. My idea for this is to use voice commands that you can activate through any mike. Here is how this would work. There would be an option in the settings to add voice commands. Once you enter this spot on the settings you will see several lines of dialogue on the right side of the screen you would see a line like; your greeting " hello Tone" and then following that a place to record your voice for what it sounds like when you say hello Tone. Then next to it is the titans response which would look like; titans response " hello pilot" . There would be multiple ways to greet your titan to select and your titans response. You could also use this to ask your titan " what is my target " and it would respond " enemy titan has (then whatever that titans tactical abilities it has)" that way you would know if a tone had a stronger partical wall or nuclear ejection or what ever else. You could also instruct your titan to follow you or stand gard. ( all voice commands I have used are strictly examples) if you don't have a mike you could use a button combo such as shooting your target for a second or two before your titan tells you stuff about the enemy titan. Both voice commands and button combos can be turned off if desired. Well that's my peace so hope you all like this idea. I would also answer any questions you might have after reading this.

Ronin: If you have something attached like a thermite thing from Scorch and Firestars, using Phase Dash will immediately remove them. Also, using Nuclear Ejection with Phase Reflex will help a lot with being doomed and being safe from Executions. Tone: Being a sniper can help a lot, but get close for easy Tracking Rockets damage. The strange but unique thing about me is that I don’t have a specific play style. It changes every few weeks days and can even change in a matter of hours. Right now I’m using the kraber and ion. Scorch is my favorite because usually a ronin will rush towards you and then you use your thermal shield and watch the ronin melt and then activate your amazing execution
How to deal with titans Monarch: get rid of them quickly Legion: countered by ion very well Tone: overestimated. Just don’t get tracked. Ronin: weak at long range Northstar: weak at short range Ion: try to deplete them of energy Scorch: there is no fighting a scorch. R U N
I counter Ions with Legion lol. They try to get close and absorb shots but I just wait and melt them. Kinda like a Genji pushing a Bastion that just waits deflect duration
a tactic of mine is to play scorch and use the perk that upgrades the thermite shield. with this you can wait for someone to call in a titan and if said titan is a ronin or northstar it barely moves before being destroyed with the thermite shield. it takes about 3 seconds and the shield protects you aswell.
we need a support titan, with healing, rader jammer, and batteries for his team, but he will have low damage: primary: a low damage accurate pistol that slows titans on hit. he will have 2 defensive abilities and would need to choose one in the start of each match: 1.can heal himself or his teammate's titan's, turrets, reapers, etc 2. create a battery for himself or a teammate's titan. both defensive abilities have a long cooldown. utility:radar jammer. throws a device at the ground that acts like the boost offensive: stun grenade. he will throw a grenade that stuns enemy titans for a short duration. core: combination core. the pilot sacrifices his titan, giving it's parts to a friendly titan. the titan that is chosen gets more armor, damage and less cooldown and the core charges faster. also the titan gets to use one random ability of the support titan(cant use core) he will have one dash and 4 health bars. can you please think about names for the titan or the abilities?
DrViperVideos totally disagree. Ronin and north star are definitely the two least used and hardest to do well with because of their minimal health. Ion is probably one of the easiest to use because of the machine gun like primary and honestly rivals the tone for being top tier in the right hands
I do mine is a pilot who got caught in the arc explosion and so he now has to switch into another dimension to stay alive every so often and my monarch is an abandoned imc Titan who joined marv with me
My character that I created for pilot is that he used to be an apex predators mercenary until his friend who was also a mercenary was shot down by another pilot and his friend was then kia (killed in action). Then my pilot remembered an organization called the Vinson dynamics and contacted them. They then put the mind of my pilots friend into a stim silicrum. My pilot then joined the Vinson dynamics because he knew he had to do something back after they saved his friend. After years of going into battles my pilot got shot in the leg and fell to the ground. Trying to get up, suddenly an enemy pilot stabbed him in the neck, then my pilot was kia. Then my pilots mind was put into a phase shift pilot, and now he battles against the remnant fleet to help ash, the Vinson dynamics leader, find her back story in the data banks of the remnant fleet. I think it's a cool back story what do you think
My pilot and titan is a veteran and skilled ares division cloak pilot who defected to the maurader corps but kept his legions nose art so his imc rivals remember him and fear him in the battlefield
“Hit and run required” ok yeah it’s recommended cos of the insanely low health but as a ronin main I can safely say you can play like you would a scorch or monarch and still get 2-5 Titan kills before going down
The two I'd go with: Ion and Leigion or Scorch. I've had and seen a lot of info about that Titans. My friend and many videos have helped me out. I've gotten nearly a month's worth of info. :/
Ion is (for me at least) the best titan. Durable enough for brawls and high enough range for poke and prod. Also; never engage an ion in a tight corridor. That's just asking to get laser cored.
good tip for tone amd one I've used since day one. most people waste thier Salvo by shooting directly at a titian which gives then a chance to use a defensive measure. If you launch it up and then drop it on them you bypass shields
Game Hunter right? the problem with me is I need help on legion. somehow I can't master him. I an ace at the other titans, especially ion but legion is weird Cuz of his speed and his cool down times for the firing modes
God, I see why, Tone fking ROCKS lol. The other Titans just dont compare in effectiveness. AOE, Rockets, rockets, rockets, and more rockets, shields, good main gun....dayum....
Another Ion tip: The damage bonus for hitting the weakspot of a titan with the laser shot is insane, it is well worth taking the extra moment to pinpoint your shot and hit the weakspot as it can very much save you in a 1 on 1.
One other thing you can do is use any titan with vortex shield like ion and if legion is constantly shooting you put up vortex shield and reflect the bullets back at legion 👍🏽
From my experience with ronin, flank as much as you can mostly starting off by emptying your leadwall on a titan, if its a tone or legion and they use their shield use your arc wave to disable and keep dashing around the titan as you reload your leadwall. I use extra dash and the double arc wave kit to be able to evade or close my distance and using the arc waves to disable other titans shielding ability.
my tip (not a pro) for northstar is use the hover ability. you get behind a building and use it for cover, then hover above it to hit the enemy with your cluster bombs and real gun.
Alright, I fricking love Ronin. He is just so good when you rush into two enemy Titans, phase shift and hit electric smoke which just causes stack damage
Tonioh98 I Titanfall 2 vids! I would say the starting one that gives back energy with each critical shot. It has really helped me keep ion alive for much longer and it makes it possible to get more than one or two cores in one life.
How Northstar could be improved; Increased maneuverability while hovering and using flight core, it's considered an evasive ability on a Stryder class so it really should allow for more freedom of flight, a fully charged Plasma Railgun does heavy damage and causes an area of effect explosion around the point of impact (Making it viable for use against groups of small targets) and Flight Core cluster missiles have a faster travel time.
I reckon as the brought out a new Atlas chassis (Monarch) they should bring out a new Stryder and Ogre one too, and the Stryder should have the Arc Cannon, and the Ogre the Quad Rocket.
ion is the best titan counter to legion, and is pretty good at killing tones. When facing a legion just hold up your shield when legion has his gun shield on. Ion's shield lasts longer than legions, so as soon as his shield is done fire all of his shot back at him. ( This brings him down to like a quarter health.) After this use you primary gun til you can laser shoot him put him in doom state and execute him. For Ion on tone just block the salvo missiles and you will come out in top.
Thanks for the lesson. I didn't know about Legion's knockback shot. It's the only titan in my loadouts that is gathering dust cause I can't seem to deal with how heavy he is. Hopefully I can make some use with the knowledge I've gained here about him. Great Video and awesome lesson. This guy is a keeper for this channel.
Tip for northstar: use viper thrusters not thermal optics. I see to many people using thermal optics for northstar it's a waste of a perk slot because enemy's already glow red. When hovering you can't cancel it so being able to move faster in the air makes it much easier to not get shot in the air
It doesn't take hard work to use scorch. 1. Use the thing that makes thermal shield make not damage and last longer 2. Get a Titan that uses one dash and use the flame shield.
I main tone and can confirm. although he is very versatile he has a learning curve and the hardest titan to play against is Ronin. Everyone else is either to slow or unable to truly uphold their titan. the other day I beat an active laser core Ion by dancing around a wall like Tom and Jerry on Boomtown. Any titan can fit anyone you just have to surrender to its capabilities instead of trying to force a titan into situations it can't perform.
Something to remember about Ronin's arc wave. It will one shot Tone's particle wall, even the reinforced version. Use it to get her out of hiding. Your team will thank you for it.
You forgot to mention that if you crouch while in gun shield you are literally invincible. Especially if you use the perk that grants your gunshield extra health.
TONE tip: get more than one target (multiple titans or other targets) to turn RED (ie ready for rockets) and then fire off double or triple the rockets at all the targets you highlighted. It takes just a little more work and patience but it has a pretty good payoff when it works.
Game is sale, bought it and have fun with it in multiplayer. I must say, Scorch is as fun as hell, got a triple-kill from the core ability. Using scorch as a flanker is good, as long as you know how to defend yourself well, and also have a core ability. As well as Northstar with Nuke eject. Scorch is an anti-ronin, cuz you could just let the ronin eat your shield. As for Northstar, it's an anti-ronin, too. Use tether when you're about to nuke, that way, the ronin that keeps on being aggressive couldn't escape in time and waste their dashes fleeing from the nuke.
People saying scorch easily yeets Ronin: *How dare you oppose me mortal* Ronin mains: *Sword block, phase dash, sword block in sword core, arc wave, arc wave in sword core exists too you flare gun wielder* Me, a Ronin main: *Bruh just team up, scronin mate, the best combo*
The only ones I'm not good at are Scorch and Northstar. Scorch because I can't seem to hit moving targets with the thermite launcher because the projectile is too slow. Northstar because I'm not good at sniping in general, every time I try to line up a shot, my target moves out of the way at the exact moment I pull the trigger. I don't know if it's just that I have bad luck or if I'm doing something wrong.
Good vid. Ion is stronger if laser shot is kept as plan B. use vortex shield to deny the damage of the enemy team. Tone is low skill cap. he can almost 1 core any titan. ALWAYS take tone out first.
Legion in ranged mode power shot explodes not penetrate. When fighting pilots as legion use ranged mode cuz it'll take like half you mag it you use close against pilots cuz dey small

I counter Ions with Legion lol. They try to get close and absorb shots but I just wait and melt them. Kinda like a Genji pushing a Bastion that just waits deflect duration
No fighting a scortch?? Please!!
Tell that to Monarch mains
samlio325 you will not win
Northstar: Laughs in VTOL hover
Hamboning5071
What goed up must come down
And Scorch got a present for what comes down
a tactic of mine is to play scorch and use the perk that upgrades the thermite shield. with this you can wait for someone to call in a titan and if said titan is a ronin or northstar it barely moves before being destroyed with the thermite shield. it takes about 3 seconds and the shield protects you aswell.
Tony Mo, what a damn great choice for the channel
we need a support titan, with healing, rader jammer, and batteries for his team, but he will have low damage:
primary: a low damage accurate pistol that slows titans on hit.
he will have 2 defensive abilities and would need to choose one in the start of each match:
1.can heal himself or his teammate's titan's, turrets, reapers, etc
2. create a battery for himself or a teammate's titan.
both defensive abilities have a long cooldown.
utility:radar jammer. throws a device at the ground that acts like the boost
offensive: stun grenade. he will throw a grenade that stuns enemy titans for a short duration.
core: combination core. the pilot sacrifices his titan, giving it's parts to a friendly titan. the titan that is chosen gets more armor, damage and less cooldown and the core charges faster. also the titan gets to use one random ability of the support titan(cant use core)
he will have one dash and 4 health bars.
can you please think about names for the titan or the abilities?
ION has a 1 star difficulty in game, but is probably the hardest to use....wtf
DrViperVideos totally disagree. Ronin and north star are definitely the two least used and hardest to do well with because of their minimal health. Ion is probably one of the easiest to use because of the machine gun like primary and honestly rivals the tone for being top tier in the right hands
DrViperVideos It means difficulty to take on (generally speaking)
Bryce Coggins no it doesn't it means difficulty to use
Because she can be defeated by a pro scorch ronin or northstar if they are good
Loved scorch at the beginning but that North Star Cluster missile is the bomb.
Is it weird that I have custom pilots paired with a titan and I'm creating back stories for them? if not tell me your characters and their stories :)
Mine is a Hammond Robotics phase trooper named Phase E3R4 that goes on special operations with his monarch titan named AC 9547
“Hit and run required” ok yeah it’s recommended cos of the insanely low health but as a ronin main I can safely say you can play like you would a scorch or monarch and still get 2-5 Titan kills before going down
what's up Tony like halfway through the video I was like oh shit its Tony from your original channel
The two I'd go with: Ion and Leigion or Scorch. I've had and seen a lot of info about that Titans. My friend and many videos have helped me out. I've gotten nearly a month's worth of info. :/
HakuryuHaruna that's 3 not two
tony mo is a good RUclipsr like if you agree😀😀😀😀.
Ion is (for me at least) the best titan. Durable enough for brawls and high enough range for poke and prod. Also; never engage an ion in a tight corridor. That's just asking to get laser cored.
I like this guy!
good tip for tone amd one I've used since day one. most people waste thier Salvo by shooting directly at a titian which gives then a chance to use a defensive measure. If you launch it up and then drop it on them you bypass shields
"Alot of people stuck with 1 or 2 titans" nope alot are just dumb noob tone pilots
Game Hunter right? the problem with me is I need help on legion. somehow I can't master him. I an ace at the other titans, especially ion but legion is weird Cuz of his speed and his cool down times for the firing modes
michael norman if you have a problem with speed equip the legion kit where it makes your chasis lighter and makes you move faster
Game Hunter ikr
Game Hunter xd
God, I see why, Tone fking ROCKS lol. The other Titans just dont compare in effectiveness. AOE, Rockets, rockets, rockets, and more rockets, shields, good main gun....dayum....
Another Ion tip: The damage bonus for hitting the weakspot of a titan with the laser shot is insane, it is well worth taking the extra moment to pinpoint your shot and hit the weakspot as it can very much save you in a 1 on 1.
Ronin: For Honor :D like it !
One other thing you can do is use any titan with vortex shield like ion and if legion is constantly shooting you put up vortex shield and reflect the bullets back at legion 👍🏽
Big legendary legion main here
Anyone else?
Me.
Honestly, legions a good counter measure against ronin.
Scorch main over here ogres are best
@@aaron-lk9uf yooo
@@EDAN-VIRO flame shield go brrrrr
From my experience with ronin, flank as much as you can mostly starting off by emptying your leadwall on a titan, if its a tone or legion and they use their shield use your arc wave to disable and keep dashing around the titan as you reload your leadwall. I use extra dash and the double arc wave kit to be able to evade or close my distance and using the arc waves to disable other titans shielding ability.
I just beat TiF2 on master on Xbone :D
yeah I love xbone but I have a pea es 4
You play x bone?
I play please x four
Or sometimes I'd like to play
Pee cee
I love this comment section
my tip (not a pro) for northstar is use the hover ability. you get behind a building and use it for cover, then hover above it to hit the enemy with your cluster bombs and real gun.
I god damn love this guy
FuzzleHC =D
Alright, I fricking love Ronin. He is just so good when you rush into two enemy Titans, phase shift and hit electric smoke which just causes stack damage
useful tips , what perk is the best for ion?
Tonioh98 I Titanfall 2 vids! perk or kit?
thanks to all!
Tonioh98 I Titanfall 2 vids! I would say the starting one that gives back energy with each critical shot. It has really helped me keep ion alive for much longer and it makes it possible to get more than one or two cores in one life.
I always use grand cannon I extends the laser core time by about 50%. If you land all of it you can take down a full health legion to doomed
Tonioh98 I Titanfall 2 vids! refractor lens and zero point tripwire are both good
the reason I really like titanfall 2 is barker
UnformidableWolf me 2 :)
TM Turbo FTW *gets a triple kill* barker: three shots coming up!!!
UnformidableWolf #alwaysdrunkasfuck
UnformidableWolf NO BARKER STOP
Use Viper thrusters for Northstar. it allows you to move around enemies when in flight core.
Monarch where u at?
She is the allrounder titan and BTs wife
Wait a minute, where is the monarch?? I don’t see a monarch on this video, the SEVENTH titan class
Pro tip: if your team has 3 scorches, please for the love of god just change to someone else
Rare Scout Pepe what about 5 tones
How Northstar could be improved; Increased maneuverability while hovering and using flight core, it's considered an evasive ability on a Stryder class so it really should allow for more freedom of flight, a fully charged Plasma Railgun does heavy damage and causes an area of effect explosion around the point of impact (Making it viable for use against groups of small targets) and Flight Core cluster missiles have a faster travel time.
All this wankers that didn't play Titanfall one and have a opinion on Tf2 and how Titans should be lol , you're lucky there's no arc cannons in Tf2
My Monarch tip use Energy Siphon then Rearm for alot of shields or use Arc Rounds and XO-16 Accelerator for killing or Energy Thief.
Personally I think Ronin's block is super important because of how much damage it absorbs.
Tip for northstar: use viper thrusters not thermal optics. I see to many people using thermal optics for northstar it's a waste of a perk slot because enemy's already glow red. When hovering you can't cancel it so being able to move faster in the air makes it much easier to not get shot in the air
My two mains are Ion and Tone. But lately I’ve been playing as Northstar and I’ve been enjoying using her.
It doesn't take hard work to use scorch.
1. Use the thing that makes thermal shield make not damage and last longer
2. Get a Titan that uses one dash and use the flame shield.
i play allways scorch, he is G 21 now. melts groups of titans down in close close range encounters but on the open field he is an easy prey.
Hey Tony! Glad you could come along! Looking forward to seeing more content!
You forgot to mention that if you crouch while in gun shield you are literally invincible. Especially if you use the perk that grants your gunshield extra health.
Tony mo and titanfall legends are two of my favorite titanfall channels
For ronin if you use your melee button instead of the shoot button during sword core you will do the execution
I like to play with every Titan exept tone(surprise!) and Northstar. I'm actually good with Ion, Scorch, and Ronin.
People saying scorch easily yeets Ronin: *How dare you oppose me mortal*
Ronin mains: *Sword block, phase dash, sword block in sword core, arc wave, arc wave in sword core exists too you flare gun wielder*
Me, a Ronin main: *Bruh just team up, scronin mate, the best combo*
TonyMo on Titanfall Legends? Hell yeah!
I have mastered pretty much all titans but northstar, IT McGrath just be my habit over charging head-on and taking it for the team
Fairly new TF2 player and very greatful to get some decent info on these titans as Iv never played the first and am loving this one alot!
I only play frontier defence. I either play scorch or monarch, scorch to win and monarch to fuck around
I think Monarch is the best for Frontier Defence
quick tip for scorch if you melee mid reload you will make the reload faster
Good vid. Ion is stronger if laser shot is kept as plan B. use vortex shield to deny the damage of the enemy team. Tone is low skill cap. he can almost 1 core any titan. ALWAYS take tone out first.
Stand by for TITANFALL. Man do I love saiyng that.
Tip for monarch:
Don't die
So cool story. Legion's power shot also has the potential to one-shot most doomed titans.
They forgot to use the spiral rocket gun from Titan fall 1 for PVP.
Legion in ranged mode power shot explodes not penetrate. When fighting pilots as legion use ranged mode cuz it'll take like half you mag it you use close against pilots cuz dey small
