2 nights at Jazz Alley in Seattle.. I saw the first show and immediately purchased tickets for the second night.. brought different people with me to both shows. Both nights were incredible musicianship. Harland on drums put on a CLINIC. A true honor to see those boys do it the way they did. Many thanks!
+TheFunkybert I saw them at Ronnie's Scott in London, totally agree with you. I felt like it was strong jazzy Black Sabbath at some point...true music man!
Loved seeing this group at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, back in Oct of 2013. Dave Holland never ceases to amaze! They basically performed the entire Prism album live. Kudos to Craig Taborn and Eric Harland as well, as they are equally important!
How could I forget guitarist Kevin Eubanks!! I can recall he was coming off of his gig on Tonight Show. Lucky to have seen Kevin earlier at the Caravan of Dreams in Ft. Worth, when Wynton Marsalis popped in for 2nd set! Still remember the late Roy Hargrove sitting a few tables over.
Another tasty bass intro by one of my favorite string bass players. I love how Holland has and does play with so many great musicians. Kevin Eubanks nice touch with a little rock/blues sound to his piece.
I so wish they would do another record. This is one of the best jazz albums of the decade, if not the best.

Saw these guys at San Sebastian Jazz Fest, Spain, July 2014. Still blown away!
saw these guys live at the Blue Note NYC May 2015…….unbelievable musicians
Beautiful! Listening to this piece several nights in a role before bed's time. Nothing can relax me as much!
Wow this is such a great band.
Dave H knows how to get ‘em.

what an amazing ensemble, real jazz at its groundbreaking best
Please add the other videos previously posted from this Mezzo performance (which were equally amazing)!
Master Jazz blues!
The guitar
That's all I need to say
i didn't know Kevin Eubanks made guitars talk like this!
Saw them at BIMHUIS in Amsterdam. They are perfect. Hope to see a show after COVID again. Hope soon.

wow
Thanks for sharing (bow)
is it just me or does anyone else hear young mclaughlin in kevin's playing..
Yes indeed ,I’m a close friend & student of Kev , in his early years he was very much influenced of young John McLaughlin for sure.🎸🔥😎
what's the name of the guitarist ?
+nichl13 Kevin Eubanks. I'm wondering why is it easier for the people to write a comment instead of looking at the video description. :)
Thank you.
Quite often it's because they are trying to make a connection. Maybe discuss the guitarist a little more.
Good question, but I could do nothing but chuckle at the question.
Defintely like this music, but for some reaon unable to listen deeply now...
Great music and performance. Too bad they chose to film this with so many extreme closeups.
