Heavenly Influences | Can God Impact The Creation?

- I have been thinking about this for some time now, and today the thoughts have spilled over into this episode!
One of the main reasons for this consideration is the work of both Alice Bailey and Dion Fortune. They both are believed to have channeled several of their books through a spiritual trance. Going into a trance, narrating the book, one of their followers would transcribe it, and what was said, is what was published. No editing, no alterations. Straight from the Spirit World!
Another reason is my current interest in modern-day cults. Particularly those of David Koresh and Jim Jones.
Finally, there are the well-established Abrahamic faiths. Several of the characters in these religions had communication with God in some from or another, and millions of people all over the world believe in these individuals and their relationship with God.
So all this taken together gives much food for thought. What are your thoughts on this matter??

From a personal gurdjieffian point of view. all these people ,who receive messages from angels, aliens , dead people and such, appear to experience a temporary connection with the higher emotional center and they try to explain it through their ordinary subjective intellectual center according to their already established beliefs and values. Only a mind better prepared can make use of such a connection.
I agree. I think one has to be open, prepared and ready to receive such a communication. I have heard it said that these entities are always around, it’s up to us to become fitting vessels to receive the message.

I see these 'entitys ' as a few concious cells in our own brain that are perceived by the rest of the brain as a ' foreign body' and will react much as the physical body does to a virus. The psychological /kesdjan / conscious/ astral body or whatever termology people like to use , is a mirror image of the physical body , built along the same lines. As below so above.
