I’m grateful to have some relatable experience from another (the wafting in and out 38:30)... it was and still is surreal when you don’t know if you woke up all the way or not because of that “character”. I’m 35 and I can see my calling with senses I developed through trials over last 10 years, but yes, to all out there (whatever part in your unique awakening) you’re at, don’t be discouraged if -you’re let in the room of Self-- and find your own voice talking to you. For me it was a genuine conversation with my voice as heard from an avatar outside but within myself, I said “I don’t know who or what I am and I don’t know what to do” and believe me I’m a seeker and one pointed 😂, like I’ve read and listened to Ashtavakra Gita 100S of times over last 8 months--, I heard myself respond saying “why do you think you’re their? I don’t know what I am either” , and I said, so everytime you have this conversation it’s you realizing self? And I felt a little mutual gratitude for that --- and then after that I wanted confirmation on what all this is, I said: is what we call consciousness/light arising from the One realizing Self? And my head forced the movement up and down for a yes and I felt as if the air in my body turned into light and I was elevated within by that light. There is still a little critic in my head that says ‘that wasn’t it’ 😜. Over the following month it was like a daily experience of witnessing the Ego come for a fight, my awareness wobble on the ropes, and eventually Knocking it out of the ring and realizing another piece of the divine view of Self.
Very good interview, i can relate to Barts words.. He has a wonderful way of explaining his ( the Emptiness ) very profound message / testament in this video.
Bart says "the character doesn't change." I am not so sure that is true. The character feels insubstantial. It doesn't seem as real as before seeing through it. I don't claim to be fully awake. Perhaps this is a remnant of doing Harding's exercises.
