What a movie. You came for action - here's Brad's role. You came for acting - here's Leo's role. Both deliver perfectly.
Brads role is action? Eh. Movie is great though.
That trailer scene was hilarious, sad, disturbing at the same time. No surprise, Rick needed a heads-up afterwards.
This is a great movie, Tarantino never disappoints
you get ONE MORE - i hear he claims his next is his last ( we'll see )
When it came out I got the impression that it was a polarizing movie, but I gave it a watch last year and really liked it.
The best actor and best director together!!
I want to fallow Tarantino around on a set just to watch him explain how he wants a scene
That first scene in the Bar when Leo starts Stammering when talking to Al I was shocked
The joke is DiCaprio came up with the whole sequence Tarantino didn't want to do it but leo talked him into it and now he's taking credit for it like it was his idea in the first place. Honestly I feel like I'm watching Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and Daffy is taking credit for bugs idea because nobody but him can have a good idea.
Rick was easily one of the best parts if the movie
The Hateful 8 was a big WTF moment for me. I wasn't like TARANTINOS OVER MAN, just worried. Once Upon... was a huge surprise after that. Extremely fun movie to watch, well written, and I couldn't tell you how many times i just lost it when Dalton was coughing and snorting trying to fight the agony of a hangover while talking to the producer, dipping his face in the bowl of ice. This movie is a feast for the audience in so many ways. The one I will keep coming back to. Pozdro666
I liked the Hateful 8
yes, Hateful 8 is very different. Tarantino movies are usually balanced between disturbing and fun, but Hateful 8 had it heavy on disturbing part. Still a great movie though
Love the way Leo thinks about his characters
the trailer scene setup the ending which was a beautiful metaphor given what really happened to peter and sharon (and friends).
The actor he talks about who committed suicide, Pete Duel......am I the only one who's noticed that he has an EERIE resemblance to Timothy Olyphant in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood?? Just look at him @ 2:19. Crazy!
You´re right. Caught it on the second glance. Remarkable resemblance indeed.
'Don't look up'
he's great in that
"8 got dam whiskey sours!"
Tarantino never shuts up lol
Well, he's got a lot to say. His enthusiasm makes for better film. 👏
I don't really want him to
I don’t imagine that any writer as prolific as he is would have a lack of things to say about his own writing.
Should he? As one of the best directors of our era, a man that is married to the art of cinema, should he?
Thank God. I hope he turns out great flicks forever! Break yo’self fool!
Like I was saying, while I realize he's busy playing with his kids. I really would like to see the QT interpretation of the Scarlette pimpernel. as a the origin story of the mild mannered alter ego in fiction it lends itself to his style particularly well. it has everything. but one thing it has that most don't is the wealthy people are the good guys. and it's a story about how they remember their friends in hard times. but it doesn't make them morally pure and blameless either. it just goes into how everyone can get into trouble because of a few that misbehave.
Love this movie
DiCaprio is the best actor on this planet. Bar fucking none.
Tarintinos 💰🤙
The closest thing he got to a full on character transformation was in Wolf of W.Street, but this is close.
The Revenant, as Calvin Candy in Django Unchained, Wolf of Wall Street, as Howard Hughes in The Aviator, in The Departed.. in Gilbert Grape...Leo becomes the character in all his roles. He is one of the greatest actors alive. I have Daniel Day Lewis as the greatest actor of all time and DiCaprio in the top 7 of all time
@@patrickbrinkmeier2691 Not so sure about it, in G.Grape it was new cause he was new, when you look back, it's just Leo with a disability, I'd put it in the same basket with J.Phoenix's Joker, a performance that was 100% copied from a guy with the disability. Unlike full on original H.Ledger's Joker.
Leo never changes his voice, he's in most cases Leo but as in Django, a comically evil Leo, H.Hughes he's Leo with fear of people, etc. etc. he's one of THE best if not THE best actor to show full on anxiety I'll give him that, but everything else is just Leo, he's more of a version of him self, not a full on character actor, not yet. Same goes for DeNiro/Pacino for the past 20/30 years. It's not bad, it's just different.
Top 7? I mean, I never had a list like that, but, I could see it, yes. He's definitely on of the last few actual movie stars that's for sure, him B.Pitt, W.Smith and T.Cruise, maybe T.Hanks but he's more low key.
Don't forget about The Basketball Diaries
He always transforms fully to become the part.
@@ElyFornoville Blood Diamond another great example. Catch me if you can.
In my top 3 movies.
My favorite scene in the Movie Leo loses his shit.
He could play Chris Deamo. From the mafia
@2:14 After Pete Duel killed him self the the cast was told not to in, then ABC heard and told the show runners that they had paid for a show and expected a show or they would sue, so they got Roger Davis who provided narration for the series to fill in
English motherfucker, you speak it?
@@IpolsRUclips @2:14 After Pete Duel killed him self the the cast were told not to come in, then ABC heard and told the show runners that they had paid for a show and expected a show or they would sue, so they got Roger Davis who provided narration for the series to fill in. Missed out (come) wasn't hard to figure out, Big story when it happened.
I break it down for you:-
Pete Duel killed him self
The cast cast were told what had happened, so were told not to come in as the show was done
Then ABC heard what was about to happen, so they complained and said they would sue, if they didn't get the show
Roger Davis was the narrator on the show, so was contacted to take over Pete's role
The show didn't last after Pete's death, ABC were just being greedy arseholes
The movie is great, but the book actually is a bit better. If you loved the movie, you may want to read the book.
Leo hasn't changed his hairstyle or his facial hair in any role or in real life in the last 15 years
He had a huge beard in Revenant and Django.... and was clean shaven in Wolf... what u talking about willis?
@@qcrew2938 lol yea true
He wants to stay young looking, that way he can keep getting the young women in his life and keep tossing them out as soon as they reach 25.
@@thebluestig2654 your foaming at the mouth
@@stewartkee6115 You're denying reality. Leo has kicked a dozen women out of his life as soon as they turned 25.
More like Quentin talks sitting beside Leo.
Dude doesn't have an accent... just. sort. of. talks... in a. way, that. sounds.... like. a Family Guy character
Leo sitting there thinking of that 9 year old actress thinking "I'll get back to her in about 10 years".
Leo likes 'em young.
Go fuck yourself weirdo. Only a sicko like you could think like that. Freak
@@stewartkee6115 Only me? Leo literally thinks like that. He only dates women younger than 25, despite being in 50s.
I feel you were entirely too triggered by what I say, is there something you're trying to keep secret about yourself?
@@childofthesun32 for you to look at a scene like that and come up with what you did speaks volumes. Its all in that cesspool you call a brain. Only desturbed mind could think it was normal and then try and then reflect it. Self loathing reflected.
@@stewartkee6115 You are still way more triggered by this than you should be. Especially in a RUclips comments section. I feel like there's more going on with you right now that you're not telling people about and it's come out of you in this way.
@@childofthesun32 S
Your reflecting your self loathing. Its clear your mind is a cesspool. Dont take it badly if I dont respond any more.
Great movie but the nazi one was better. What's that called again?
Inglorious Basterds. Personally out of all Tarantino's movies I like The Hateful Eight the best. It is now my favorite Western as well as my favorite Tarantino movie.
leo wants you poKed because he believes the world is overpopulated
Leo looks like a DappaDan man
"Who cares, its a shit movie anyway"!
The scene he did with the little girl and the easy breezy book was pretty good. But I thought the trailer scene was stupid. DiCaprio is one of those actors who need a lot of direction to be good. They are terrible at improv.
that's just like your opinion man
Impressive. Every word in that sentence was wrong
@@DaggerDrip Are you sure? Because I thought it was someone else's opinion...
@@Reclusive247 Even more impressive. Every letter in your sentence is wrong.
@@TheBerylknight Damn you Jeremy Dale, you win this round!!!
That movie sucked such a boring waste of time
ugh such a waste, most ordinary boring film hes done, liked everything tarantino has done except this, wasted leo
It was a good movie. QT jeeps pulling the movie to the edge and never goes over until the end. You think he's doing a normal film for a while.
This is Tarantino's way of telling the Hollywood Historians to F themselves. He literally changed History in this movie because some of the characters were real life Hollywood stars, at least one of which was murdered IRL by Charles Manson and his followers. Manson's character even has 1 or 2 cameos in the movie.
@@thebluestig2654 hmm manson never killed anyone, he got other people to do it. but whatever the story wasnt as good as the real one, honestly know what he was trying to do, but it was far from anything coherent, then he does an over the top violent scene at the end, no this was a selfish movie for tarantino himself, his most 'pet project'
@@CoolCoyote Either way Sharon Tate and all her friends survived in this movie because of a flamethrower. Also, the fight between the stuntman and Bruce Lee never would have happened that way. The stuntman would have been flat on his back in less than 10 seconds.
I agree movie was meh
Did 🚫 like Leo B4 QT!
So What.
is tarantino straight?
Yeah.
Totally but raised by women and pimps
that movie was so bloated and indulgent. and the ending was total garbage.
the trailer scene was cringe, bad move by QT
lol that one of my favorite scenes in the movie
not at all, amazing film. You must not like his movies.
Wtf. Wow, I couldn't disagree more. The scene definitely worked, for me.
It was funny.
