To be the salt of the world one needs to change his character first or else that will just be another hypocrite.Real change is needed. Here in Brazil lots of believers are doing their best to add taste to people's lives and they need you God! O Lord, hear my prayers!
Don't normally comment on videos but how ANYONE could smash the thumbs down button on this sermon is perplexing. One of the best sermons on "Salt" I've heard! "Go on and preach Pastor" haters are gonna hate! They're Bitter, and in need of some good Salt! :) God bless.
Sometimes you can not do anything to people, and they're angry or upset at your presence. God said beware when all men speak well of you. Matter fact if people are comfortable with your presence and you're salt and they're not, they will get angry with you. Your presence irrtate their demons.
“Heavenly Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen
The Gospel of salvation: 💜💕💜💖💞💜💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
You are called to be the salt.... stop delegating the duty of being salt to another person. So how about you change the attitude and YOU bring out the best from your partner.... and then maybe your partner will be so changed that they will bring out the best in YOU!..... it's all about perspective.
The first verse of Matthew 5:13-14 introduces the phrase "salt of the earth": salt is toxic to most crops, it was applied to render large tracts of land unusable. The custom of destroying a city with salt originated as a symbolic practice and became a well-established folkloric motif in the middle ages. The ritual of spreading salt on conquered cities symbolized a curse on those who re-inhabit them. Je'suis used the expression to illustrate the destructive and cursed nature of the Jews. The later verse refers to the phrase "light of the world". In John 9:5, Je'suis applied the title to himself. This episode led into John 9:39 where Je'suis metaphorically explained that he came to this world, so that the blind may see. Je'suis also used this term to refer to Jerusalem. In this case, he refers to the city as the sun, being too prominent or renowned to go unnoticed for its misdeeds. Je'suis makes it clear in John 10:24-27, that the Jews are not of his sheep. Their constant demand for a sign from Je'suis is the same as satan saying unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. God does not need to prove that he is God, his sheep hears his voice and follows him. BEWARE of false prophets.
Frankie Cruz my thoughts exactly! Why would Jesus say who we are/what we should be and you find a way to turn into something negative? Salt would be toxic for those who want to stay in darkness. Help her see Lord!
No way is salt 28% of our body weight...try less than 1%. Just curious where he is getting his information...14,000 uses for salt?? Otherwise a pretty interesting lesson...Just needs to verify his facts before he delivers his sermons....
