I've only just found your channel. I am not a religious man. I don't read the bible and I attend church for weddings, funerals and christenings. I have faith but I view it as a private matter. I believe that faith manifests itself in the day to day decisions that we all face. I don't need to preach my faith to another person. I need to find the person that needs some help more than anyone else and do what I can to lift them. Has faith given me the inclination to live this way? Possibly. It doesn't matter what religion you are. If your religion gives you a reason to do good in the world and help your neighbour, then that can't be a bad thing.
I was exactly like you. Then I realized that there is a cabal of people that run this world that actually worship something. Then I researched for a decade and everything pointed to, there is something to it. I'm glad I realized it

God is in ALL OF US. HE made us in his image. He is the Son of Man. We are all princes and princess ' of God. You don't need to go to a specific building and pay money for your sins, or to build more church buildings. He said "wherever 2 or more are gathered in my name, I am there." Well, when we are alone and praying to God, that's 2...God and you. Hell on earth is not God turning his back on us, it's Us turning our backs on GOD. We have free will; how else could God know our love for Him is real without giving us free will? If you call on God, he WILL answer you, every time. It's not just a yes or no answer, sometimes it's not right now, or yes, but it's in His time, not ours. What's 80-120 years of a humans life to God? It's a blink to Him, we are NOT the center of the universe, God MADE the universe and everything in it...be grateful and kind to your fellow humans AND animals, nature etc... I am with you brother, I've spent 21 years as an active duty combat medic, lot of time in real combat, watched friends die in front of me and I believe I can get through almost anything EXCEPT watching my children suffer and being helpless. ❤
@Teresa Grimes thank you Ma’am!❤️ exactly, I have been very fortunate with my children, other than a couple broken bones and cuts on the boys but at three years old my little girl had a cyst in her throat and when they were wheeling her away for surgery I almost lost my mind. Everything went well but that brief moment in time where I didn’t know what her outcome would be was harder than the over two years of combat I was in so I can’t imagine those with children terminal or severe chronic conditions. My young lady is about to turn 8 this year, I am 43 and found out I have cancer a few months ago so I am trying to do all I can to make sure the fam are taken care of and we cherish our time together just in case, I am sure all will go well though ❤️

Back in Jan 2016 I had my kidney removed due to cancer and my ex husband, my sisters and even the nursing staff at the hospital asked how in the world I was so calm knowing I was about to go in and have major surgery. I just told them that it was my faith in God and knowing that I trust him to get me through and that there was a reason I was going through it. That being said I am also very guilty of only calling on him when things are bad and I'm trying to get better about that.

I love your comments on belief, my are nontraditional and I I feel your comments are genuine. I try to learn about others beliefs to understand them. I had never heard of Jelly Roll util here recently but have become a great fan. He touches on many "dark" topics but not in a negative way, to bring things forward and make us look at our-selves and at this time, I think it is a good thing.
🔥🔥🔥 reaction as always Ray. I grew up catholic, even going to a catholic grade school til 8th grade. I swore off "organized religion" half way through 9th grade after joining a nondenominational Bible club. Only went to church for weddings and funerals until I wanted to have my children baptized, I started going to their mom's church, "Greek Orthodox" definitely much better than the catholic church, and got them baptized. Their mom and I split up (on good terms) so I'm back to just believing in the Bible. On another note, this song was tough to listen to without your input, I definitely shed tears like you did.

Even if you have faith and are active. God allows things to happen to make us dig deeper. It is the only way we can grow and become the creation we were meant to be.
