Wilt wasn't alley ooping his freethrows to himself, he was dunking them from behind the ft line because time before he even got into college self alleyooping the ball off the backboard was already outlawed in NCAA and NBA. In 1956 (Wilt's first year in college) the NCAA changed the rule that stated that you can,t touch the flor infront of the ft line before shooting the ball to having to shoot the ball from inside the semicircle, and the NBA did the same exact change (from not touching the floor infront of the ft line before shooting to having to shoot from behind the lane) in the offseason after Wilt's first year, though both Wilt and his coach Neil Johnston thought the change had already been done by the time Wilt arrived to the league so he didn't try it once in the NBA, and while in college he could only try it in a practice because Kansas State (the other Kansas college) coach Ted Winter saw Wilt try it at least once in practice and rushed the NCAA commitee to change the rule before Wilt played a single NCAA game. And there are articles on this topic. Also the rule about inbounding over the backboard was changed for the NCAA and NBA while Wilt was in college. And fun fact Wilt was using the one legged fadeaway every game in the 60s, because it was his go to move when he was outside the paint in the left side of the court, but he mainly bankshotted it

Before LeBron, great team were made by drafts and trades by front office, coaching and players. Now thankd to Lebron, great teams are made out of thin air by star player’s social skills and friendship.
Iverson EASILY the most influential NBA player ever. He changed the rules, he changed the culture, changed the style of play and he changed the reputation of short players.
Michael Jordan the GOAT he never lost in the finals and he never had to have another superstar from another team join him to win all 6 of his titles and he never had to leave the Bulls to win his titles played sick to his stomach in the 1997 NBA finals and still pulled off a victory against the jazz in utah many other superstars would have sat out and not even played but not Jordan he pushed himself he battled both his sickness and the Jazz that's how tough he is to beat.
Jeff Assassin, Bill Russell won 11 titles and went 11-0 in finals he was healthy for. Never had to leave the Celtics for a title either. Never had someone else from another team join him either. So by the logic you used for Jordan it would put Russell as GOAT. Now I know as a Jordan fanboy you will move the goal posts to get Jordan over Russell, but your logic here does not put Jordan on top.
Everything about that warriors/kings series was amazing. The narrative of it especially, you had a young team that hadn’t been to the playoffs since 2006 vs the reigning champ and kinda dynasty. Steph breaking a record, steph and fox putting up spectacular numbers. Easily the best series of the entire playoffs
I wasn’t a fan way back then, but how did people feel about KG going to the Celtics with Pierce and Allen? I’m curious was to how people viewed that and why LeBron was the first one to show what power superstars have. Maybe it’s because he’s such a bigger name I don’t know
Shaq should be in there. Strictly talking changing basketball in NBA so for me the list is this: Wilt - bunch of rule changes Dr. J - excitement and explosion in games MJ - change of strategy to wing, athletic players for game wins Shaq - a dominant center to win / strengthening of rims for power dunks Dirt - stretch 4s and NBA globalization (great players from other countries given more chance in NBA) Lebron - player mobility Steph - 3 point revolution and analytics Sorry Magic and Iverson.. Though they were great and exceptional, I think they did not have enough influence to change the game. They are like an anomaly in the matrix, a one-off. The best i can think close to magic is ben simmons and to AI is IT of boston but u did not see the NBA looking for someone like Magic or AI.
Louis Dampier is missing. He was the reason the ABA was 3 point crazy, and after the merge exported that TO the NBA. It took the NBA over 20 YEARS to catch up to his 1967-1968 and 1968-1969 3 pointer numbers. He's also the ONLY top 3 point shooter ever that MATCHED his best year almost identically - ONE HIT OFF from his best year to his second-best, though that second-best year was more efficient. Also keep in mind, the ABA 3 point shot was 25 feet except the corners, NOT the wimpy 22' 9" (or 22' 3" for a few years in the early 1990s) of the NBA.
Cause of curry every man is shooting from all over the place , cause of Iverson we have dudes like Irving and Jamaal Crawford doing hesitation dribbles and lastly LeBron cause dude taught is that u can guard multiple postions u can play multiple postions

Shaq is left out as the league changed the material of the rim and many other changes like most teams used to put shaq on the free throw line, to stop him.
Tim Duncan is my favorite. Followed by Olajawon and Bill Russell
Isiah Thomas is underrated he was the first "scoring PG"
He's good but he's not the first scoring pg that's wilt fraizer
NOPE !!
NATE ARCHIBALD LED NBA IN PPG AND APG. GROW UP KID U STILL YOUNG
James Harden with his fouling skill changed the rule of the NBA
Before LeBron, great team were made by drafts and trades by front office, coaching and players. Now thankd to Lebron, great teams are made out of thin air by star player’s social skills and friendship.
Ai is my favorite play of all time but you forgot Steve Nash he changed the game with his shooting
I didn’t even watch yet😂first time being early
Excellent job!
I was early without knowing😂😂😂🤣🤣
Iverson EASILY the most influential NBA player ever. He changed the rules, he changed the culture, changed the style of play and he changed the reputation of short players.
God is Great and Jesus is King 🤴🏼🤴🏼🙏🏻👑🛐
Love watching ur vids!
No shit sherlock lebron a close 2nd and kobe right outside top 5
casual
@@t-bone971 pretty sure your the casual
@@Mwangimusictv you're wrong
It’s bothers me that people still don’t know how to pronounce Dirk Nowitzki’s last name
...and not one mention of George Mikan. Interesting.
💕 love non sports
Dissipointed that u missed the Detroit bad boys cant lie I was shocked u messed that up.
Strictly talking changing basketball in NBA so for me the list is this:
Wilt - bunch of rule changes
Dr. J - excitement and explosion in games
MJ - change of strategy to wing, athletic players for game wins
Shaq - a dominant center to win / strengthening of rims for power dunks
Dirt - stretch 4s and NBA globalization (great players from other countries given more chance in NBA)
Lebron - player mobility
Steph - 3 point revolution and analytics
Sorry Magic and Iverson.. Though they were great and exceptional, I think they did not have enough influence to change the game. They are like an anomaly in the matrix, a one-off. The best i can think close to magic is ben simmons and to AI is IT of boston but u did not see the NBA looking for someone like Magic or AI.
Can you do how good was Kawhi Leonard actually or David Robinson two of my fav players and if not keep putting out 🔥 content👊💪
To early to make that kind of video about kawhi.
Kawhi still in the league so no to that but for muscle man i like the idea
What about kareem abdul jabbar?
Magic but no Larry Bird? Come on.
Strongest /fastest nba players of all time
1. IVERSON GOD
2. WESTBROOK PRE BEVERLY HURT HIM
3. JOHN WALL PRIOR INJURIES
4. MAXEY FROM PHILA
Only viable list: Curry, KD, MJ, Wilt, Lebron
I'm so confused why Kobe, Larry Bird, Shaq and Kareem weren't on the list
i mean u couldve made it "12 players who changed basketball forever"
Bill Russell,Bob Cousy, Oscar Robertson,Pete Maravich
I feel like Magic Johnson and Larry Bird should have been one things. Their rivalry help save the NBA when it needed saving.
You forgot to mention Zsa Zsa Pachulia. Because of him they changed the calculation format for all star voting.
I might be wrong I think Bill Russell should be on the list because of his defense and blocks
Wilt was like playing in Rookie Difficulty scoring 40+ every game with 10+ Rebounds
In the description it says these 10 players but in the title it says 8
Shaq deserves to be on this list.
Steph in 2015 was like a math teacher to the nba
Bill the Hill not here? The greatest defender of all time? The guy who LITERALLY brought the block to the game?
I've never seen anyone stopped Dirk's one legged fadeaway and Kareem's skyhook(other than Wilt)
JABBAR SKY NOBODY USES
no kd? bro is a literal 7ft with very good handle, unblockable 3s, relentless finisher with the post game, easily the best scorer of all time
I would throw Rodman in there on being yourself instead of trying to fit the stereotype of a pro athlete
watch his 30for30 and explain beyond this
U have to add Westbrook with his Triple doubles
Oscar Robertson had triple doubleS b4 as a PG
Never
I love watching your videos
You talk about players who changed the NBA but leave Shaq, Larry Bird, and Kobe.
Cause of curry every man is shooting from all over the place , cause of Iverson we have dudes like Irving and Jamaal Crawford doing hesitation dribbles and lastly LeBron cause dude taught is that u can guard multiple postions u can play multiple postions
you should have added bill russel
You should of added Kobe for being the youngest all star player and for being the youngest rookie player to join the nba
That's right! Philly's own Wilt Chamberlin! THE GOAT. All others are just kids. Wilt was such a great athlete he made team USA in Volleyball. AFTER he retired from the NBA.
And both HOF in Basketball and Volleyball
pound per pound mj is the goat
Shaq and Kobe are on of the biggest duos ever and u didn’t add one of them. You didn’t add KD, Hakeem, Bill Russell, and Tim Duncan.
Kareem I mean the dude had dunking removed for 10 years and he never lost a game in college
Jaylen Brown next video Nonstop Sports 💪💪💪
Thought Shaq would make the list for being huge
I think u should put kobe, mamba mentality, work ethic
