A very nice take on a bowl project Colwin and thanks for geeing him along Steph😜. It has inspired me into having a go at making one for my sister who has started crochet. Keep up the great demonstrations 👍
I always make my Bottom 2 cm thick , so the Yarnbowl would not slip . I knit myself , so its easy to know. Thicker Bottom is very helpful for every Bowl if you ´r a Catowner . I call them „catsafe „ lol
Very nice bowl Colwin Steph must be very happy
VG demonstration - good humour too!
Brilliant Colwyn!
This as got to be the best woodturning channel, everything is explained so well it’s a real pleasure to watch, well done to everyone involved.
Thank you very much for your kind comments and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the idea for gifts for family and friends.
The bowl is awesome.
Very nice thank you Colwin 😊
very good an enjoyable project thanks
please can you check the focus on your cameras... the overhead is soft... but beautiful work.
Hi Colwin, I have learned most of my turning from You Tube videos.I have noticed that you prefer to use a “bottom feeder” to turn the bottom of the inside of a bowl, whereas other turners seem to prefer a scraper. Is there an advantage with either method or is it a case of personal preference?
I enjoy your demos, thanks. What particular species of Elm is this? Here in the US, we have multiple species of Elm each with unique characteristics.
Hi there, on this occasion we are not too sure, it came from a local tree to us here in the South West of England.
