I don't think there are many who can do justice in relation to Taemin's art. This is done very well! I'm impressed. Taemin is a hard act for anyone to follow as he is on a whole other level. He did a great job on this cover and that's not an opinion I hand out lightly.

I get what you are saying and as a fan I think this rendition is beautiful and Taemin would love it but you need to understand the standard for Korean idols is extremely high. This is why Taemin is Taemin. This performance is not up to Korean standards and the critics were harsh but that's what is needed. Not everyone can make it in kpop.

His dancing is astounding, hope to see him debut in the future (if he hasn’t already) with more supported vocals. As a Taemin stan I gotta say that Taemin definitely has his own flow and style, but also that we shouldn’t compare a trainee to someone with his level of experience. Jimin did amazingly well with this, however, and it’s super cool to see this kind of dance done so well by a trainee!
