@@GunninRebel55 I feel that....That back court is still one of the best....a player like him can only come off the bench so long....he is a starter.....unless he takes the Lou Will or Manu position.....an elite scorer who come off the bench and get buckets and draw fouls when the opponent is tired

@@marshenmoney3982 I think CJ will be traded after this season, Gary Trent JR will start at SG, and with 96 minutes between 3 guards it could be 38 for Dame, 28 for Trent and 30 for Simons with GT also getting minutes at the 3. Trading Simons now would be a mistake. Just my opinion.

Not sure he has the intangibles and ability to run an offense efficiently to be your #1 pg.... and not sure he has the size, 3 point shot to be your starting 2. Best as a microwave combo guard off the bench, like a Lou Williams...Only way I can see him starting is if you have 6'5 pg that can really shoot off the catch and defensively handle the assignement of guarding opposing 2 guards.

He don’t need his own team yet, dude has a lot to learn. Let him continue to develop 1-2 more seasons, then try to sign him to a decent extension and we’ll really see by year 4 what he’s really made of when he’s a full 23-24. Maaaan this brother DC is tripping 😒....if he doesn't have those tendencies at this stage of his career..you can't tell him to just go and yell at the alpha dogs on the team ....he has to establish himself a little more ...dude doesn't talk throughout the whole vid

He’s an NBA vet. He knows what he’s talking about. Those are things he has to do if he wants to be great, not just good

I think that's the point. He's trying to get him to talk more. And you don't necessarily need to be too loud to take charge. Think Timmy and Kawhi. Simons might not be an alpha personality, but DC ain't telling him to be. He's just letting em know that he has to demand point guard duties. Not that he had to take CJ and Dames jobs

Eh I’ve watched a lot of his games on league pass. I don’t see star potential nearly. At most a solid starter that will get you at most 18 a game. Never will be a star player.
