It does not measure the temperature of the wort. Unfortunately. It measures the ambient room temp. If you use it with a glycol chiller it's irrelevant. I used it for the last 2 years. nice device but not very precise.
I would love for this product to actually function the way it is intended, however anyone just going through the amazon reviews can see that this product is not worth the money at all. You might be happy with it at first, but judging by what others say it will break down and customer service is non-existent.
@flora brewing ... I find it hard to believe 'bubbles per minute" is accurately measuring your SG. Is it accurate? Have you checked this against hydro readings at all? Would love to believe this sorcery.

Pressure fermentation make a huge difference in fermentation temperature. It's much less susceptible to temperature damage.

My buckets leak so profusely i dont know why the hell i even bother with an airlock. But get rid of them? hell no

But is it accurate?? That's all we want to know, fancy connectivity and compatibility means nothing if it's not accurate.
