MGIMO does actually a pretty good job at teaching FOREIGN languages to its Russian students, even if the methods are a bit... traditional. But unfortunately the quality of Russian language teaching is very low. They might teach you how to discuss nuclear non-proliferation in Urdu, yet our group of the most advanced Russian learners (about C1 level each, one unfortunate Uzbek who was technically a native speaker) spent their afternoons talking about what we did last weekend.

    Hi there,
what about job prospects for foreign students after graduation?
Do they have a dedicated Placement cell in MGIMO?
Cause I've read Russia to be a tough place to get job for people of foreign origin.
    Regards
