Rodrigo - Jordan's dad here. Be careful when you nail or screw in your sheetrock. It looks like the wire holes you drilled are a little too close to the outer edge of the studs and beams, so make sure you don't hit the wires while screwing. Good luck guys!

You need to put something called an electrical grommet between the wires and the metal frames. It helps the wires from rubbing in the metal. Could save you from burning your house down!

You know Mr Rodrigo, when you start feeling overwhelmed by the size of the new project you've taken on. Stop and look around you. Not only have you finished building your beautiful new home, but you've electricity, water, and you've a bathroom, kitchen & dinning room. All this you've accomplished (some with Freddie 's help) in a relatively short period of time. Take it all in, take a deep breath, exhale and continue. This two you will finish...how proud you both will feel at the end. 🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I would have made that first wall drop straight down where that beam is at about 2 feet high.
You won't really "live" in that small area back there but if you blocked it off and put concealed doors, it could create a lot of useful storage space.

Since you have an A frame house you can come down from the first beam from the floor at a vertical base and make the wall straight. Then make cabinets out of it like you did in the kitchen. That will make a lot of cabinets for all the things you want to store. You can put furniture in front of it if you need to.

Hi Guys, as you do a work project- the work teaches you the best at to do it! Things to think about; 1) termite treatment inside the walls as you seal them up (maybe at Milo), 2) building Code says “NM wiring must be protected from physical damage” (at passing thru metal) & holes thru wood drill with a paddle bit type of 5/8 or 3/4”, 3) I would drop the walls vertically from the lowest cross beam - easier/less material/more storage space/mas bonita, 4) Freddie needs to get her work 3 or 4 feet off the ground!!, 5) someone mentioned a router table - great idea - makes work faster and also much more consistent, 6) I think that Jordan now has the special tool for getting the last (top) tongue and groove board to slide in tightly. Again, you are crushing it! This part is a marathon run rather than a dash run. Perhaps a walk with the pups every day at 4p would be fun for all??!! Neighbor Dennis, Jaramillo Arriba by the bridge. Just put the lower nail in each piece so that each board will flex out so that the next board will join better then nail the skipped nail when nailing the next board. Also cut a one half width board with the appropriate grove or tongue so that you have a "Beating Block" to seat each board without damaging any strip.

Every time I'm amazed by how much work you put into the house, now the walls...
I would use bigger boards, cover the metal. Making the build so much easier 😅
    I'm sure you're creating a very beautiful wall 🎉

Yesterday I saw a man got electric rail that traverse the territory and it was fitted with a carriage train to bring wood cement all that good stuff
The wall is spectacular. You can use lots of different woods

You two are accomplishing so much so quickly. Your struggles with English is so cute you keep us all smiling and you are actually far more bilingually proficient than tons of Americans. I hope you stay just the way you are, especially without reverting to having Freddie appearing in skimpy and revealing clothing. So many youtube videos seem to depend on the female of the couple revealing their assets with such minimal clothing for clickbait that nothing is left to the imagination. You guys are doing so well you do not need to change anything.

I love the wood walls too, but like you said, at only 3 inches a board, that is sooooo much more work! Why cant you mix up the rest of the downstairs walls and have mostly the 10 or 12 inch wide ones with some of the narrow ones that you already have mixed throughout the space! Where you have all those small ones, you could place a couch or sofa in front of them, and no one would see there's no wider boards there! Save yourself so much time and labor! Beautiful evening at the beach! Thanks for sharing!

Don't you ❤ that chop saw!!! It's my favorite tool!! Build a pantry pantry for your kitchen. A dresser is good for any room. I have one for my office stuff. Freddie? She always rocks it and so do you!

When doing the horizontal boards, one way to eliminate the small piece at the top is to determine the height of the area you are covering and then find the center. Divide that number by the width of your boards. Cut the board so that the top portion (with the tongue) is the starter board, and the bottom portion (with the groove) is the top piece. That way you eliminate the small piece at the top and it is more symmetrical when looking at the wall. One thing to consider if you go to wider boards, they will be more likely to warp or cup with the changes in moisture in the air.

You should build a router table. Fix a board to your saw horses with a hole for your router to stick out of then you can just slid boards along without clamps 8:22

The living room will be beautiful when you are finished. Tongue and groove is lots of work but as you guys said, it will be worth it. You both work very hard and it is nice that you can take some time to go to the beach to relax and be together, it's very important. Good work!!
