If you're a Chinese beginner, you may not know how to introduce yourself in Chinese. It's EASY! In this video, you're going to learn 12 common words which are commonly used in Chinese self-introduction. Each word has several examples to help you to understand and remember. In addition, you’ll learn how to make a simple self-introduction by 8 steps. All steps are simple Chinese structures so that you can use them easily.

Steps to simply introduce yourself in Chinese for interview or making friend - introduction in Chinese:
👉 Step 1: Greeting
Nǐ hǎo!/Nǐ men hǎo!/Dà jiā hǎo!
你好！/你们好！/大家好！
👉Step 2: Your name
Wǒ jiào Nǐ (men) kě yǐ jiào wǒ
我叫+ your name; 你(们)可以叫我+ your nick name.
👉Step 3: Your nationality
Wǒ lái zì Wǒ shì rén
我来自+ country/province/city, 我是+ country +人。
👉 Step 4: Your hometown
Wǒ chū shēng zài Wǒ (xiàn zài/yì zhí) zhù zài
我出生在+ country/province/city, 我（现在/一直）住在+ country/city.
👉 Step 5: Your job
Wǒ zài gōng zuò, Wǒ shì
我在+ country/city/place 工作，我是+ occupation.
Step 6：your speciality
Wǒ huì
我会+ activities.
👉 Step 7：Your hobbies
Wǒ (hěn) xǐ huan
我（很）喜欢+ activities/someone/something/someplace.
👉 Step 8：Tag
Hěn gāo xìng rèn shi nǐ/nǐ men/dà jiā.

@@Tech4funch it's hard to go on. the simplest way is to go to China. i have been trying hard with German academically for 8 months. i don't think i'll study chinese again (at least until i speak german well)

What about age? When I watch chinese TV shows, most people also say their age.
It's ok for most young people or kids to say their ages (emphasizing how young they are)specially in TV shows. If you think age is not privacy at your age, you can add your age in your introduction in Chinese.
