YUS
That’s just fantastic, I try to come up with my own but I’ll not bother, I’m not beating that.
I've had it in my head for some time now that "throw another shrimp on the barbie" is Paul Hogan's bogan slogan. That's all I've got.
Yee I have one (which I had thought of just now): an animal with a mental illness from the arctic- a bipolar polar polar....oh wait its leaving! Bye bye bipolar polar polar
A professional wrestler's motto based on a DC superhero = Hulk Hogan's Logan Slogan

"This isn't even my final form."
Did he level up or did he use a stone?

Neither, he was traded.

“They’re not pests, they’re legitimate countries”. I almost choked on my beer
I don't get it...
@@NoNameAtAll2 "There have been many attempts to deal with pests, particularly Australia and New Zealand." - Tom Scott
tom scott was talking about how australia and new zealand have tried to get rid of pests before, but this sentence can also be interpreted as saying that australia and new zealand are pests
To be fair, a not unimportant part of the australian population are descendants of convicts that got marooned on the other side of the world to get rid of them.
Will Seaward has a kind of "Ghost of Christmas present" vibe.

Tom's facial expressions when he asked where Stephens Island was and Chris replied "The Sea!" are just priceless
I freaking love Will's laugh. It is such a belly laugh.
This guy is like a descendant of Santa Claus. If Jon Snow was related to Santa it'd be Will.

I met Will Seaward once, at York Uni's PantSoc 10th Anniversary party. I still don't believe he's real; the phrase "larger than life" was invented for him!
Please tell me "PantSoc" means "Panthers Society".
@@dominateeye God I really hope so

Will's laugh is simultaneously the most pure and impure thing on this planet and it never fails to make me smile
Will is like if Weird Al was turned into a viking
.. How the hell did you come up with that?
And how are you so right?
I've met the Stephens Island lighthouse keeper and stayed a night at his house (he lives on D'Urville Island now because the lighthouse is automated). From what I could gather the major part of his job consists of conservation rather than lighthouse maintenance these days, which is somewhat ironic. Note that this isn't the same lighthouse keeper who introduced the cat, he's long dead.
Will has the most enjoyable laugh. I think of English Santa.
So Father Christmas
Is there a major difference in their laughs?

I'm not convinced Will is a real person...
I think he's really Brian Blessed.
Speaking of Brian Blessed, if you haven't already seen it, pull up Tom's video about self-checkout voices.
JorWat25 He looks like a pirate on the Pirates of the Carribean ride that got loose.
Perhaps... "panthers?"
Definitely a panther. He just dropped the pipe on the way in.
(4:25) I get that the subtitles are meant to help people understand, but it's also fun when it includes errors like the previous "tephelone". Chris did say "humings" and not "humans".
It was just translated by an Ork. WAAAAGH
Matt did the fusion dance with Brian Blessed?

That new guys laugh is pure gold
That guy has an awesome voice and intonation.
I find it really annoying. To me, he always sounds like he's convinced that he just made the greatest joke of the show and waiting for everyone to laugh - despite Gary being way funnier than him.
forced & considerably annoying
Have y'all ever thought that maybe it's his natural laugh? I know someone who's normal laugh (once he REALLY gets going) sounds exactly like that.

I love the fact typing "New Zealand Fecking Big Eagle" into Google does actually work and brings up Haast's Eagle - Tom didn't make that up!

This show is CLEARLY rigged.
I would like to point out that Will Seaward is in fact the ghost of Christmas Present from the Muppets Christmas Carol.
When I first saw this Will Seaward fellow my brain immediately went to "How did Tom get William Shakespeare the time traveler on the show?"
Has Will Seaward ever considered a part in Dickens Christmas Carol as Christmas present? Would be perfect for the role.
My thoughts exactly
Subtitling error at 11:58. Gary said 'zoo', not 'cinema'.
8:38 To this day if you look this up you still get the same result. I shouldn't be surprised but I do find it amusing.

Thank you for such a wonderful panel guys, was a pleasure to rewatch! ♥
Actually, "Is it from Stephen's Island?" IS a valid question... It might not be the (Stephen's Island) Wren but the Stephen's (Island Wren) as in the Island Wren that was discovered or named after someone called Stephen rather than the Wren living on Stephen's Island. So it does deserve a point and not just because Will is new. 🙈
These videos are terribly fun to watch. It feels like hanging out with hilarious, and yet so very clever, friends.
OMG, it's Will Seaward from Questionable!! (that I just happened to watch yesterday)

I would have gotten mystery biscuits! We had the bones of those birds, with the story about the lighthouse keeper's cat on a plaque, next to our geography class in high school. I must have read that story so many times while waiting for class to begin.
Will Seaward is the ghost of Christmas Present.
Well this was a delightful surprise. I love your educational videos and then.. this pops up. Now I'm off to enjoy all the previous episodes!!
Several years ago I walked the Routeburn Track in New Zealand and it's the only walk I've done where distance was measured in dead ferret/weasel/stoat traps(!) Another way to deal with pests is the phrase "if you see a possum, squash 'em"
