If you're able to vote in Britain today, and you haven't yet: go do it before watching this! Otherwise, please enjoy 15 minutes of nobody reminding you to vote.
In Britain, too young.
It doesn't matter who you vote for, as long as you vote and do your part!
Hell, even if you don't like any of the parties make sure to spoil your ballot as a protest vote! Not turning up at all is the worst possible outcome!
Joshua Pearson Well it does matter who you vote for, but it matters most that you vote.

I don't get it...
@@NoNameAtAll2 "There have been many attempts to deal with pests, particularly Australia and New Zealand." - Tom Scott
tom scott was talking about how australia and new zealand have tried to get rid of pests before, but this sentence can also be interpreted as saying that australia and new zealand are pests
To be fair, a not unimportant part of the australian population are descendants of convicts that got marooned on the other side of the world to get rid of them.
As a fake prize, I am both sad and proud that I thought of this.
You've won a memory game made by the author of "Discworld" in which you pair together identical axes. It's "Terry Pratchett's Hatchet Match-it".

That’s just fantastic, I try to come up with my own but I’ll not bother, I’m not beating that.

Garry : goes off on a tangent
Tom: *ding*
Gary: "I'm getting a point for that?"
Tom: "Yes, but actually no"
Tom's facial expressions when he asked where Stephens Island was and Chris replied "The Sea!" are just priceless
I met Will Seaward once, at York Uni's PantSoc 10th Anniversary party. I still don't believe he's real; the phrase "larger than life" was invented for him!

I've met the Stephens Island lighthouse keeper and stayed a night at his house (he lives on D'Urville Island now because the lighthouse is automated). From what I could gather the major part of his job consists of conservation rather than lighthouse maintenance these days, which is somewhat ironic. Note that this isn't the same lighthouse keeper who introduced the cat, he's long dead.

Most extinct birds are indeed flightless.
most birds are extinct
That's what happens to dinosaurs.
and literally typing "new zealand fecking big eagle" brings up haast's eagle
Certainly are now.
Well of course they are! They can't fly anymore one they've gone extinct!
I love Chris Joel's reaction when tibbles is mentioned.
Subtitling error at 11:58. Gary said 'zoo', not 'cinema'.
Was Gary yelling "Get out of my office" the thing that made you laugh for a full minute in the youtube editing room, Tom?
mistaecco nah, _Panthers_
I love the fact typing "New Zealand Fecking Big Eagle" into Google does actually work and brings up Haast's Eagle - Tom didn't make that up!
I've always worried what kind of world we'd inhabit if Brian Blessed ever passed away
But Will Seaward has given me hope for the human race
That "Panthers" can be a good distractionator for the next Battle of the Beer.

Will is like if Matt and Brian Blessed got in two teleporters and got 'The Fly'ed together
Of course the ornithologist wins the episode about a bird.
This show is CLEARLY rigged.
Chris' joke about introducing an elaborate passport service is underrated tbh. Love this episode!
This needs to be a 5 person show now
I love how now google autofills “New zealand fe” as “New Zealand fecking big eagle”
9:00 probably the best moment of the series
I love that people have searched "New Zealand fecking big eagle" so much that it's now in Google's autocomplete.
I think you found one of the best possible stand-ins for Matt. Will is hilarious!
I need a t-shirt of Will's face at 5:04 with the word "Panthers?" on it!
I would like to point out that Will Seaward is in fact the ghost of Christmas Present from the Muppets Christmas Carol.
When I first saw this Will Seaward fellow my brain immediately went to "How did Tom get William Shakespeare the time traveler on the show?"
Will only needed to eat Matt because Jay Foreman stole all of his food
God that's an obscure reference
Ah, vintage
Run awaying without paying puts me in a good mood
Will Seward's laugh is such a joy
After seeing Will Seaward, I understand why famous English kings were compared to lions
Has Will Seaward ever considered a part in Dickens Christmas Carol as Christmas present? Would be perfect for the role.
My thoughts exactly
Ah, this guy fits right in! Love him! If you ever decide to do a 4-player game I'd love to see him again.
I should not have watched this on the train. Now I have a carriage full of commuters who think I'm crazy because I've been laughing so hard...
Will's smile and chuckle immediately following his claim of having eaten Matt makes him seem oddly sinister, like he actually did it.
We need more Will. He's like a little jolly Brian Blessed.
May we have more CN with Will? He fits in well. (doesn't have to replace Matt but we need more of him.)
Nillie The puns would just grow and take over everything like a hilarious, cringey tumor!

Super Grayan.
9:09 proves that the laughing owl still lives; there's one in the audience
8:38 To this day if you look this up you still get the same result. I shouldn't be surprised but I do find it amusing.
3:20 Gary’s question was never answered
did it evolve it’s flightlessness on Steven’s Island or did it evolve flightlessness somewhere else and then get there by non flighted means
For some reason, that brought to mind the Monty Python rant about swallows carrying coconuts.
Coincidentally, there's also a Stephens Island off the coast of British Columbia (other end of Canada from Nova Scotia, alas). Both named for the same person, Sir Philip Stephens, Secretary of the Admiralty (because apparently once was not enough).
I just took a sip and did a genuine spit take when Gary said "they're not pests, they're legitimate countries"

The amount of Chris spit-takes in this episode is phenomenal.
I have the strongest urge to move to the UK because of this series having a live studio audience now
I would have gotten mystery biscuits! We had the bones of those birds, with the story about the lighthouse keeper's cat on a plaque, next to our geography class in high school. I must have read that story so many times while waiting for class to begin.
