I'm absolutely sick to death of nearly every single map having some sort of visual obstruction like gas, sand/snowstorm etc. Spending so much time in every game not being able to see past a couple meters is so annoying.
@@yesplaze1883well what if they want to actually contribute to a major order, but don’t want to dive onto a planet where they can’t see shit? Not saying that I agree with it, but it’s a completely valid complaint.
@@yesplaze1883 Learn to read. What part of "nearly every single map" did you not understand? When I played the other day and there was literally 1 bug planet in the whole game that didn't have one of those effects and less than 500 people playing it. Plus then I wouldn't be contributing to major orders. Grow up.
Gas Mines are great. Helps out holding positions effectively such as defending the nuke nursery objective! Wont be in every loadout I take but definitely the best of the mine stratagems
You can take out charger butts with 3 shots of the grenade launcher. Especially with a lot of gas stuff making them run by you, it gives you some time and cover from other enemies. Can also take out impalers with 4 shots to the face. Other people mentioned taking EATs instead of the orbital rail, and that's much more effective against titans. Gives a good amount of spares for other heavies over the rail timer. I usually take the supply pack, but jetpack is a valid choice. Not sure what is the best primary and secondary, but you can ditch the grenade pistol since the support weapon pumps out plenty of grenades. Maybe bushwacker for staggering the alphas in close, something that shoots faster as primary for inevitable hunters leaking. Some breaker variety + bushwacker might be overkill..but terminids always get in close.
Same, they're lovely. Tried other mines multiple times before the gas mine came as a 5th strategem, they suck, and the gas feels viable, it's got a proper purpose separate as well from the gas strike
Underestimating the GL for killing chargers butts & impalers' faces! All you need is 3-4 direct shots on a charger butt, 4-6 for splash dmg, and then enter a fatal bleed out (crossbow is the same which is crazy for a primary).
Not the build shown here, but the effectiveness of gas mines with builds that prioritize standing in your own gas is genuinely massive; medium gas armor with vitality drastically lowers the hp drain rate, and while gas nades and the gas orbital by themselves already give you a lot of potential gas clouds to rely on for protection, neither of them really compare to the gas mines -- the mines are so numerous, so well spread out, and each create a gas strike sized cloud upon detention, making the total amount of gas clouds you can create with a single charge utterly unmatched -- on something like extract, or really an defensive position, having the whole area littered with effectively instant gas strikes is so wildly effective, maybe I'm a little overzealous, but I really do love these things.
Hey Takibo I hope you get a chance to see my comment, just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, seriously one of my favorite channels to watch. I appreciate you keeping up with what HD2 puts out, and you’re awesome
12:58 That right there is why I never bring Orbital Railcannon. 500KG quite often doesnt one hit kill Heavies either but at least you get two of them and Eagle Rearm isnt as long as Railcannon cooldown.
Have you thought about doing a video on the constellations? The different mission types prefer specific sets of bugs (and bots). You can kind of plan your loadout accordingly, works really well and is very consistent.
I have some similar problems with the mouse. Two times actually. First time it as due to the reflective surfase of the table - the mousepad did the job. The second time was because of some wireless issues - I replaced my bt module and it solved the problem. P.S. Now I use Asus Spatha ROG mouse - amazing piece of technology, I mapped all the actions in HD2 to the programmable buttons, but it can be quite heavy for you after the logitech
I replaced my logitech superlight with a Lamzu maya X and I couldn't be happier with the change tbh, its better in every way imo. My logitech had issues with the scrollwheel and I had to get it warrantied twice in one year
if you've only had your mouse for 6 months its covered by their 2 year warranty, but if you have the first gen superlight i would recommend the second gen since its got type c charging, optical switches, and an updated sensor from the first gen superlight. same shape, pretty much same weight, but just newer internals, and it has up to 8k hz polling rate, not that i would recommend that due to battery life reasons, but 2k hz is definitely a viable option.
I was under the impression that they'd be available to purchase permanantly if we completed the MO. A tall order, given where we stand right now, with less than a day left.
am i the only one who finds grenade launcher hard to use? its just if the bugs get to close its usless, maybe i just dont use it enough, but i feel like you should be able to hold more ammo for it regardless.
Since you have a logitech mouse i really recommend talking to support and try to get a replacement under warranty, logitech customer support is one of the best
I’ve not fully tried out hell divers. But I’ve Ben put off, Becuase I’m not sure if I can get past seasons worth of content, there is a bunch I want. But if I missed my chance I would rather not play. Are my fears unfounded?
Bringing a grenade pistol when you already have a grenade launcher seems a bit… redundant. Could have brought a Senator to easily deal with the Alpha Commanders.
Ngl i love the gas mines even in helldive. Its like a huge napalm you can set up early. I throw it in the middle of bug breaches, run through and stim once i start taking damage, no need for gas armor so you can have more nades or stims. Bugs start killing each other and take damage over time. Im really going to miss this as a free stratagem.
Visual obstruction is not fun game play. Every planet has non stop fog, storms, gas. Once in awhile or a mission type with it sure but all the dang time sucks. The visuals is one of my favorite parts of the game.

Get better
Edit: if you don’t like playing in those environments don’t dive on the planet💀
He literally said nearly all planets have this
@ then pick a planet that’s doesn’t have said things

Yo Takibo I was waiting for the upload. Always happy to watch you after getting off the game brother.

Great video! I was on the edge from the beginning. Gotta learn to use the resupplies a lot more!
I actually like them hope we actually get them

If you took the EATs instead of Railcannon you'd be able to hit more tank armor enemies, but I respect the variety
Actually, crossbow, redeemer, eats - you can handle everything
that meganest was INSANE!!! LMAO
I can recommend the glorious model 02 pro wireless, a banger premium mouse, you'll never regret getting one
Would be great if the stats at the end of the game shows killes grouped by enemy "rank"

Can anyone explain the mirin sector on the bug side that is inaccessible? But says it has 7 heldivers, and the liberated rate is slowly ticking up
Gotta hit the alpha commanders in the legs, it's their weak spot
So for the bile titan vomit you actually want explosive resistance
gas mines = troll your friends
The old gas would have been great with these
Temporary until we complete MO

@christophercramp17 Yup. He said officially at the very beginning, but it's temporary until we complete the MO. Then they will be permanent.
Whats up legend.
Imagine a Thermite rounds grenade launcher ooooo
Did you go back to calling in strategems with the arrow keys? I see that you can move now while doing it

You can get everything. The previous warbonds don't go away and are available to purchase/unlock permanently.
sad news boys, while the gas mine is great, we may loose this MO because the bot front still have 1 more planet that's almost half way done.
seems ok. mines just are unpredictable
We are so back!
It's an UGLY planet --
a BUG planet!
the quality of the recent uploads is sadly declining

Gas mines with napalm strike? 🤔
Seriously, a much better and engaging story than Twilight
