Hallo, the summer is definitely over here. But the water is still quite warm.
In addition, we wear 7mm neoprene diving suits which also have a lot of buoyancy.

Really enjoying seeing you sailing in real weather.
Do you think the traditional main hull shape - which I think is deeper and with more rocker would be dryer?
    The shunting is great!
Also the rope you have underneath for righting, you could tie up with woollen yarn to keep it away from the water. The wool would break away when you need to right your lovely boat.

Hallo, I believe that my hulls have about the same cross-section as the traditional.
But it's true they have less rockers I think.(it is also difficult to find reasonable information)
I believe that less rocker prevents rocking in small waves and the boat can then become faster.
If I were to build a boat again, I would increase the ground clearance.
But these were also extreme conditions in which you should drive the boat much more defensiv.
We just tried out what happens if you don't do that .(close to the harbour in warm water.)
You could also drive the boat much slower and drier in such conditions.
And then it would be relatively safe even under such conditions.
But you have to try it out to see what the boat can do and it's a lot of fun.🤪

@@fjordproa6510 love sailing small boats in rough weather. We used to take our Hobie 16 out in gales, with 3 people to keep it down - the only boat out in the bay, except for the water police, who’d come and check if we were ok every 20 mins 😃. Yours looks like a lot of fun.

With the wetsuit it was ok.
Anyway we didn't have time to freeze ;)
