I m so going to tell my husband and friends that “who says you can’t eat before dinner?!” I can’t relax on trips with my husband n friends because they always get mad at my eating before eating dining together! Now I have you on my side💃
Great timing on your upcoming travel tips. My husband and I are going to France, Austria and Germany for our first European trip with a travel group. It's an active vacation with hiking and a lot of walking so activity will be good. However, the only food option is vegetarian with the group, which I designated, and I am also allergic to all nuts. One of the first featured meals is a potato dish made with integrated cheese at one of the first stops -- a cheese farm. I decided to pack quick oats, homemade oat cocoa balls, pop-top lidded canned beans, precooked wild and brown rice in one cup containers and I'll look for a non-glass version of salsa. I'll take fresh fruit and cooked potatoes to eat on the trip. If I find some non nut based snack bars, I'll buy and pack them too. Many meals are pre-planned and I hope we will be able to eat vegetables, legumes and fruit at each meal. I will do my best at eating whole food plant exclusive. Making a big deal about oil, salt and sugar in any meal is counterproductive to our enjoyment of this long awaited European adventure. Getting into markets to buy fresh fruit and veggies will be attempted on free time. I'm looking forward to hearing about the food you ate during your trip. And I'm hopeful for an acceptable food outcome on my trip. We hiked in the Adirondack with this group, eating the vegetarian options. I took oats, apple chunks, cooked potatoes and some processed vegan soup along in my suitcase to help. But the options on this US trip were surprisingly good. Looking forward to the remaining videos! Linda
Oh my...those tacos look so good! You probably already know this, but I just discovered that Erewhon actually had it's first location in Boston! How fitting that you love it!
Love 🥰 this video and it depends on my mood on the day whether I eat 🌮 or Bowls because both are awesome and as long as the food is healthy & yummy 😋 I don't care. Love 💕 Emmie.
I’m so excited about watching this video. I’m taking notes on the restaurants that you are at. My significant other and I are planning an LA/Napa trip in September. Where did you stay in LA? Was it nice?
Thank you Emmie! Last weekend I ended up traveling to DC. Even though my food was all vegan, it was covered in oil. I’m used to cooking oil-free for myself for two years now. Maybe once an month I’ll get take out made with oil, and that’s totally ok. 48 hours though is way too much. I ended up getting sick. I could see the oil in my vomit 🤢never again.
Can you just give your significant other a name? Like…let’s just call him “Bob” and every time you say “Bobs” name use air quotes so everyone knows that’s not actually his name. 😆 but at least he can be called something! 😹
Are you team TACOS or team BOWL? Let me know in the comments!!
You are just absolutely, adorably funny!! Thank you for the content and laughs! Heartwarming!
You are so welcome!

Girl, your hair color is everything! It looks so great! And might I add, you literally need ZERO makeup.
Oh thank you! 🥰💕

I wish I would’ve known you were coming I would have popped in to say HI! I went to gracias madres for my bday! Xoxo
Ok but I’m definitely noting down the oatmeal airplane hack - such a good idea!!
Love Gracias Madre although as with all restaurants, you do have to read (or ask) ingredients! 😍
Both! 😬🌮 🍲
It rocked!

Help! What would you order in an Italian restaurant?
Awesome! Can you come to San diego California next and eat here? 💕
I have friends there so yes!

Hi Emmie, you may have mentioned this in a previous video that I missed. Have you found that a whole plant based diet corrects gluten sensitivity?
I haven’t found that. If you have celiac disease then that is usually genetic.
You have the most beautiful skin, must be that maxing super healthy diet
Could you be any sweeter! Thank you so much!
Tacos 🌮 Love corn tortillas!
Me too!!!
