    My questions are,
    1. When should we stop our sip or investment on a mutual fund?
    2. Other than immediate personal need, When should we decide to liquidate the invested mutual fund?

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil
      @InvestmentInsightsTamil  3 года назад +2

      1. There is no reason to stop investment unless you cannot. I would encourage to invest as long as possible.
      2. If there is no personal need, there is no need to liquidate the mutual fund. Let it grow. Let the power of compounding work for your advantage.

      Do not contribute in Non Deductible IRA if you exceed the limit. You should consider ROTH IRA instead. And if you are still not eligible for ROTH IRA, then you should look into Backdoor ROTH IRA.

    • @InvestmentInsightsTamil

      Expense ratio is already accounted for as part of the fund NAV itself. Others, varies depending on the type of mutual fund you hold and when you sell it. You have to calculate it manually.

Looking forward, thank you so much

    Hi sir, After watching your videos I've decided to invest in Nasdaq100 Index and Nifty50 index using Motilal Oswal and ICICI AMCS respectively. My question is :
    1. Motilal offers 2 schemes namely Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 ETF (ER: 0.57) which has to be bought like stocks on SIP method and an FOF scheme which invests in the above ETF scheme (ER : 0.67). Which is best? Investing in ETF or FOF scheme?
    2. Investing in 3 funds Nifty50, Nasdaq100 and a managed fund rises my Expense Ratio > 1. Is it advisable to invest with higher expense ratio sir? What can be a solution for this?
    Btw, Thanks for inspiring me to choose this long marathon of investing at my early age itself. Keep going sir❤

      1. Both has its advantages and disadvantages. Totally personal choice - www.valueresearchonline.com/stories/47348/what-is-the-difference-between-an-etf-and-a-fof/
      2. Again, personal choice. I would encourage to stick with just index funds with less expense ratio.
