When it comes to character types in sparking zero i think there's 8. Some people are akways missing one or two. 1. Ki blast specialist 2. Strength and power 3. Speed 4. Sword/weapon user 5. Grounded/can't fly 6. Android/robot 7. Giant 8. Scouter Some characters have multiple styles.
There are more. Exactly the ones in the video. I didn’t put one in on purpose it’s called infinite ki android(normal) but the reason I left it out was because there is no character with that class yet. Most likely a DLC later. We get all of our data in this video straight from the source code of the game. Technically this video is talking about character classes but most people know them as types. As for what you are referring to are traits. Such as grounded or weapon user. Hope this helps.
I found the spreadsheet, which appears to be no longer available, to be a decent, maybe even more detailed alternative to the website. I think that character types don't account for all stats of a certain character. Pan for example, appears to be a normal type, yet has a lower defence and deals less damage per hit compared to a base Goku. If I recall correctly, her melee damage is equal to base Vegeta (early)'s, who is a Ki-Blast character. Possibly, characters can have a mixed typing? Super Vegeta feels like a Power Character and a Ki-Blast character, benefitting from more Ki-Blast damage and quantity, while also gaining defence and melee buffs alongside super armor in sparking.
You are mostly correct. Your stats are a combination of your character stats and the class. The character stats are the actual base values and the class only applies a buff or debuff to them. Though that doesn't mean that all stats are affected by both. Some stats are only determined by the class and others only by the character stats. Some (like defense) by both.
It is true they have lower Short dash costs than most classes. However there are 2 types of Speed Characters for short dashes and it seems that is decided elsewhere in the game code.
Bro, your videos are very good work. I would like to ask you something, if it were possible to include it on the web. Based on the archetype of each character, could a fighting style be created to configure the CPU and remove the default one to enhance combats vs CPU?
@@jgfox3150 No, I didn't explain myself well. I meant that with all the types there are, you could configure a fighting style that is faithful to their strengths and weaknesses but with the configuration tools that the game gives you. eg; Balanced: Hand to hand combat. Do not change the file within the code 😅. Thank you very much, greetings.
Question about this. I main Metal Cooler, he is classed as a “Villian”. He is also an infinite ki android (normal) type. So is he infinite ki android (Villain)?
My type is you 🥴
Honestly, your vidoes have dramatically improved my win loss ratio.
I'm trying out new characters while keeping old favs
As a sidebar, i’m getting so many match declines because i can win on match timeouts if i dont win outright lol
Im an unintentional menace
So glad youtube suggested you, bro, thanks for the info!
Glad to have you here.
@@jgfox3150hey, that google doc was deleted?

@jgfox3150 Having a scouter and not flying being labeled as traits make sense. Good video.

The Spreadsheet has been moved to the patreon in the description but you can find free information on our website that is also in the description.
Not mentioning speed types lower short dash cost is a criminal mistake!

It's determined by the combo stat which is a completely separate stat from the class. They just happened to give most speed-types a high combo stat.
One little mistake:
Metal Cooler is infinite Ki (Villain)
You are absolutely correct. Thanks for that. Will update website and future videos.

Yes. I know the file that would need to be changed but I would need a person that can mod the game. Highly interested if you find someone who can.

@@Chriss10Suez Yes but I haven't check but most defaults should be based on the class already
W video bro 🔥
What's the benefit of almighty class. Just that they're badass to play.
Question about this.
I main Metal Cooler, he is classed as a “Villian”. He is also an infinite ki android (normal) type.
So is he infinite ki android (Villain)?
Infinite ki villain
Take infinite ki normal and add the villain benefits and that will answer your question. We will update all future videos.
Are all these percentages also on the website?
Yes they are. Under archtypes. I think it’s under wiki
