I was a very picky eater when I was a kid. Took me till I was 11 to like everything in the end. For all you picky eaters that don't dare eat anything out of your comfort zone, it ain't gonna kill you if you try one normal bite (not the tiny squirrel bites). You can't travel and not eat their food cuz then you don't get the full cultural experience

Picky eaters are so annoying. They're some of the worst types of people you could ever have over for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They don't eat like everyone else, pick at their food, and have to make it known "No....I don't eat this or I don't eat that", sometimes you have to spend extra cooking one or two completely separate dishes outside of the main menu for them so that they don't feel left out when everyone is eating and enjoying their food. Honestly, stay home and eat your bland cardboard tasting food and leave those of us who appreciate all the creativity and wonderful explosion of amazing flavours God created for us to eat and experience alone. It's one thing to try something once and not like it....so be it, versus not trying it at all and saying "Oh...I don't eat this".

I'm Hispanic and for some reason I was born super sensitive to spice. My parents , siblings, and my kids can eat spicy things no problem. I can't. There are certain things I just can't eat because my mouth feels like it's on fire. For instance, most mustards I can't eat because of the paprika. Sometimes I'll eat a pickle and be like whew this is spicy. Or if I'm eating certain pizzas I have to take the pepperonis off cause they burn my mouth. If I eat any sort of chip that even has a hint of spice on it, I have to dip them in sour cream or I can't eat them. My kids think I'm nuts cause they love really spicy chips, or they put tapatio and tahin on everything and I just can't do it.
I love all kinds of food...and I am willing to try almost any kind of food...you never know if you dont try different things...I wish she said what she does eat...because she is not a tiny woman

My family always thought I was a picky eater because I wouldn't eat eggs or certain cheeses, but after trying said food items multiple times, I can confirm that my body just can't process them. I get instantly sick after eating them.

Best solution for picky eaters: Taste is not king unless you allow it to be king. Make them live on the streets for awhile. Helps appreciate all kinds of food. 👌🏽
