I’m not here to bitch about the servers being down day one (although thanks a lot for the wasted PTO and wasting the ONE DAY I had to play the game with my buddies that we will have until NOVEMBER.) With the Deep Shillver publishers forcing the game to be always online (no doubt to squeeze as much money from us as possible), Payday 3 has been put on a timer. The same kind of timer found in the Mission Impossible mission briefing devices. At some point down the line, whoever is in control of the game will decide that keeping the servers for the Always Online Payday 3 just isn’t profitable anymore. The servers will be shut down. And the game will essentially self destruct. For those us us who still have it installed, all it will be is a digital paperweight. You won’t be able to clear the title screen, because it will be looking for servers that no longer exist. Those who bought it and want to return for whatever reason, will find it missing from the storefront, yoinked from existence like PT. This is the state of gaming today. Paying an exorbitant amount of money for a product that more than likely won’t even work when it arrives, and has an expiration date looming over it. And it’s our fault, the gamers, for letting it get to this state. We allowed things like Fortnite and Apex to become money printers for their publishers, and effectively told everyone in the gaming industry “this is what we want!” Gone are the days of buying a product and that product working. Gone are the days of buying a product and that product being readily available at any point in the future. Payday 3 is just another example of how low this industry has sunk.

Hi! i have already played the prerealease due to preorder and i absoletly love it so far but there are a few things i would really like: - a search function for challgenges or atleast filters akin to what we have in PD2 - a popup like pd2 has when i completed a challenge midheist - A proper list for each gun to see when what attachment is unlocked - some increases in time/help of bots when it comes to time sentitive objectives (Like the dyepacks taking a bit longer when you are a solo or the bots helping you deactivating them) - also it would be cool to have a keybind preset like the controlls where in pd2 (dont make me break another throwing knife cause i wanted to throw a bag)

Currently at 41% on Steam because it's online only and the progression is bad. You also have to make an account with a different launcher to play it. I'll just keep playing Payday 2, at least I don't have to queue for a solo game playing that one.

the game is good, it's just the servers that are broken, they couldn't handle the crossplay, the stress test betas didn't account for that (Really stupid, i know) but the game itself is fine, i don't know which part of it is a scam, they delivered on what they promised with the game mechanics and what not, they just didn't account for the servers

Servers came back up, played a solo heist full stealth and after and hour of tactically and blindly going through the building unspotted, and right as I'm almost done with the hiest feeling proud of my work BOOM servers are down heist failed. Make an offline mode! Fuck!

A couple days past release and there's no game to show for just a shitty menu screen with broken matchmaking. Lol this game's predecessors had solo Offline and peer to peer connection yet this one doesn't... Its Scummy and when you realize it's purely to keep you connected to a network that its goal is solely about monetizing everything in the game, then you'll come to the conclusion that the heist's aren't on our ends, it's on theirs. God Bless all the devs that put their hard work into something just to get screwed over by greedy decisions made from a couple snakes in suits.

Payday 3 will require some more QoL and other small changes to be as good as Payday 2, but I think that bar will easily be met if some of these things are fixed and as soon as that happens the sky is the limit
I mean idk so far I didn’t get any fun from PD3, the game just looks spiritless and enemies feel like bullet sponges. All the nice movement was removed for a more realistic-UE-like one

@@HelpMeFindMyDad you probably don't have the right build if you think enemies were bullet sponges. You also completely dismissed my movement claim. I mean, PD3 didn't add animations, it just looks laughably bad.
Then payday 3 never even got off the ground as no one can play it.

is it just me or does this launch remind you of the days when games where actually good at launch? like in the 2010ish era, where the only problems we had were payed dlcs (but still, the game was “polished” and complete)
