The point of a Rube Goldberg machine is to be able to follow what the machine is doing until it completes one simple task, it's impossible to follow how each part is working with the other it just looks like a bunch of random moving parts with no aim.

And, Rube Goldberg machines have been reinvented in so many ways...its not about being the "largest" redundant machine any more, it should be about being the most imaginative.
Me too - Creezy's Swish machine is SO MUCH more satisfying than this. This looks too industrial, whereas his is all made with backyard stuff and junk and infinitely more rewarding and fun!

I mean, Jesus Christ! That was insane! Quite a complex machine! So many moving parts, I don't know how many people were involved in this, but it's incredible what they did with this device. I don't think I'll be able to beat this record. My way of turning on a Christmas tree only has one part.
