JD,what amp are you using and what strings? Why does your bass sound better than sg basses from the early 2000’s.it’s not flubbing out on low E string

I’m using a powered 12” pa speaker. Strings are round wound nickel medium-heavy gauge.

I have a '22 short scale Gibson SG bass. I play 6 string, but I use a bass for laying down bass tracks. That's a 30" scale?

I believe it is. It’s no longer in my possession so I can’t verify it, though.

At first glance, it looked like a short scale SG bass. I always wanted that bass and almost bought a short scale bass around the $500.00 range, but I changed my mind and shelled out two grand! I would have regretted buying a cheaper bass.@@pinckneycustomshop
