    I think it's so Dumb they don't at least allow the father see his child being born, I mean he got you pregnant, y'all live, eat and kiss each other. If he got the virus then you would have it too! Let's be real.. the father's should be allowed in the room. Plain and simple

      it's not everywhere that women have to give birth alone, alot of hospitals say if the woman is really in labor they let he baby's father in the room.

  • @heythere5817
    @heythere5817 4 года назад +12

    No I'm sorry if you're a high risk pregnancy and something goes wrong you need your advocate there. You do not want your decisions to be made by someone else. Someone who knows you needs to be in that room and able to speak for you if you can't speak for yourself. Leave the whole I want to see my kids get born aspect out of it. It's more than just that. People also seem to completely forget that the father has already been living with the mother. Anything that he is bringing to the hospital she's already brought there. If everyone is wearing masks you are not actually lowering the risks.

    Well imma need them to invent a special suit and helmet that dad can wear if that’s the case! If we can dive hundreds of meters under the sea, you can find a way to get dad in the delivery room...

    In the UK the fathers now have to wait until woman is 4cm dilated which means he's not there for the majority of the time. He needs a covid test and will be given ppe equipment throughout....we do have free healthcare system though..no cost to give birth over here... i think people need to remember that YES men were not in the rooms in the 50s but the grandmother was or the sister....to not allow anyone is not a good idea for the mother.

      Yes, observe the body language. Someone will be on the show talking and there's Adrienne checking the monitor continuously, then repositioning her hair, blouse or jewelry... As a matter of fact, watch this video, prime example. She's cute, yes! I have no problem complimenting a lady. But I also call it as I see it.

    I'm glad I'll be able to at least have my husband as my support person. I had a emergency c-section the 1st time and had a panic attack. I had early pre-e with my 1st, an now I'm due in January. The hospital doesn't think it'll change anytime soon on it's visitor policy.

    I get the issue around covid but its horrific for mother to go through labour alone. I want my husband to be my voice when I'm in pain if I can't make decisions. If your public and there's 10 ppl in a room it should be different but labour room everyone is on they're own without other patients, they'll be in full ppe kit

  • @gaila.9852

    I think it depends on the person, my friend had her baby during lockdown and she got dropped off by her boyfriend and he was there to greet her afterwards, she had an amazing birth and the best midwives so she said she wasn't actually too bothered about him not being there, she would have liked for him to have witnessed his child being born but she said as for her needing support she had that from her great midwives, she said it reminded her of what her grandmother and her great gran had to go through, when father's were never in the hospital, her and her grandmother bonded over that, it depends on the type of person I guess. Also this was her second child so she knew how it went and she wasn't afraid

    I think that people are just being over sensitive. Its very irresponsible to be mad that you can't have people with you in the delivery room because of a deadly pandemic that spreads quickly. People should grow up and prioritize what's important. Keeping the community and yourself safe is more important than having your spouse beside you

    • @navywife4life07
      @navywife4life07 4 года назад +3

      It’s not as deadly as the reported. Also has a survival rate of 98%. The flu is much more deadly then covid. It’s insensitive of you to make such a statement.

    • @gaila.9852
      @gaila.9852 4 года назад +5

      People don’t want their spouses beside them just for the sake of being there. So many things can go wrong during childbirth.

      @@navywife4life07 if one person gets the virus they will spread it to tens and hunders of people. So getting the virus and spreading it to others from selfish is the bad thing not the country trying to protect you. If you notice no other country is affected with the virus like the us. Thats because people like you are selfish and only care about themselves. Pretending that the pandemic is not a big deal is ignorance. You don't really see how much people struggle from this virus. The symptoms are way worse than the flu. People have reported that they feel getting stabbed with knifes from this virus. I've got the flu before its not that bad.
