"Anyway, we're gonna need more robots in the movie so Optimus is gonna get some Transformers together." - Not to talk about the Romeo & Juliet laws, right? "No no no no no no. To make things explode" - Oh okay! Yeah yeah yeah wow wow wow! That part made me laugh out loud as well. He just riffed off his own catchphrases into a single new one out of his surprised/relieved/excited Producer Guy character. It's amazing!
I almost screamed with laughter when Ryan went on and on about the Romeo and Juliette law. It never occurred to me that the scene was probably put in there by someone who had to know that law very well. This was one of the best ones and your laughter was fantastic. Thanks Mike!
This may be the best pitch meeting yet. It’s just wall to wall laughs from “but there’s still money to be made” through the Romeo and Juliet laws masterpiece and capping off with “metal punches metal, guns, boobs, America, victory!” I could barely breath.
I don't remember the last time I laughed as hard as watching the "romeo and juliet law" bit for the first time, it is just so beyond me how there can exist such a scene in a childrens big budget action film, or in any movie for that matter like W T F 😂

I’ll be honest. I was into the transformer movies because of Sam Witwickey’s character. I thought it was super interesting how he interacted with all those Primes, and had information from the All Spark burnt into his head, I wanted to see more from his character.
The next transformers honest trailer is one of my favorite, mainly because of the commentary video where Dan Murrell goes on a rant about how the movie was trying to give him epilepsy by constantly changing aspect ratios
I remember watching the first one in theaters twice, buying it the first day it came out, then went back and watched it in theaters 1 more time that day, then.. The other ones happened. Lol. I think they're all fun in very stupid ways, but that first one was amazing when it came out!

It shows that he wouldn’t go cross that line (unless Screenwriter Guy tells him that those scene will make MUNEY!!!) I have faith for the next Transformers movie, since Michael Bay isn’t the one directing and writing the movie (Thank God!)
Optimus Prime hiding under the floor boards of a barn, yeah that's plausible. Makes you wonder if the farmer had a very lucrative side gig. That space would hold a lot of in demand, but not legal items. However the barn refuge is not as out there as getting punched by a car flying at full speed. At the moment it has to be shining crown on top of the "what the...:?" heap. They should create an award for all the excessively ridiculous bits of action. They can name it the "Car Punches" awards in honor of the one that may never be dethroned. Writer Guy is no longer tethered to reality, he's gone bye bye. His creepy factor is also at an all time high. This is one of best Pitch Meetings; acting, writing, character growth and interactions were pitch perfect. Easy win for me.

I remember starting this in a hotel room after my wife threw me out, before I realized it was a transformers movie it seemed kind of cool. But then the transformers came and I figured I'd been drugged again.
Ironically the Romeo and Juliet Law shit is the only thing I remember about this snoozefest aside from the fight scene because my uncle and I went to the bathroom and Optimus was still fighting Other Robot Minion.
When Michael Bay cares more about the exception to statutory law than anything else in the movie... The switch to the Chinese in the trailer fit - and they haven't done it since, so it hasn't been overdone.

I like the first and third transformers movies well enough. I hate the second one, and I don't even know the word to describe how much I loathe this one. The Romeo and Juliet law scene almost made me walk out of the theater when I saw it, but I paid a lot of money to see it in 3D (I regret everything about that day). All I could think of for the rest of the movie is why did Michael Bay know/insist on having that scene in the movie, and the only conclusion I could come up with was that he had been in a situation like that when he was younger and was using the movie as an excuse to explain to people who knew him back then that it was okay, when all it really did is make everyone who watched the scene uncomfortable.
I was a bit excited for Age of Extinction when I heard it was gonna have an all new cast. Based on that alone I thought hey they might be going into a different direction with the franchise now with Shia and Megan out of the picture. First trailer drops and I turned away really fast never looking back.
You know after watching the Spartacus tv show on mars perhaps I should just get in shape and sell myself as pleasure, (I mean Gladiator cough cough), slave to some gorgeous chinese rich lady to get ahead of the future conquest. You know it's going to very uneasy and very much an inconvenience in the future when science gets off its couch and we all start living longer. Since I am just an ignorant English-speaking American that "watches" RUclips content while driving hundreds of miles everyday, and therefore cannot read subtitles or really even look at the screen, I really hope that second half of the Honest Trailer was as enjoyable as it sounded :-)

Hey Mike, does it seem that Transformer movies are, at this point, ONLY made as material for HT and PM? LOL, I mean, I actually LOVED Bumblebee, but MOST of the TF movies were seemingly made cuz Hollywood needed to fill a spot for the summer movie season!
idk, it seems like real writer guy was trying to make the rest of the world OKAY with something he MAY or MAY NOT have done... just saying... very very specific LOL
Thank God that we now have movies like *"Bumblebee (2018)"* and much better TV shows such as *"Transformers: Prime,"* and *"Beast Wars: Transformers."* Literally anything that is better than all 5 Michael Bay Transformers combined. Well, more like all four Transformers sequels combined.
Was Mark Wahlberg in 2 Transformers movies? I honestly don't remember and I recall falling asleep during one of the newer Transformers movies, the one with Anthony Hopkins. It's a shame that they dragged a great actor like Anthony Hopkins into a Transformers movie.
Ok so I only saw this movie once so I don't remember it super well but, was the daughter dating that creepy dude for at least 3 years and Mark Wahlberg hadn't met him that whole time?
Even if they did start dating when they were both minors, he said they started dating when she was 14, which made him 17. A 17 year old dating a 14 year old is creepy and sick.
Lazily produced? Really? Michael Bay movies are many things, but most definitely not that. Also, name me one movie that doesn't have goofs and continuity errors. It's a movie with very bad script. That's it! Blame the writers, but don't crap on the hard and clearly expert work of the hundreds of other people who worked on it.
