WOD worked with Hollywood back in the 90's on a show the director sucked and didn't want to listen to the creator of Vampire so the show was trash. But, Underworld, Blade, etc. are all based on WOD's Vampire. But, I would LOVE a 1:1 accurate show/movie based on Vampire: The Masquerade.
My last M.U.S.H. character was a Camarilla Assamite Scourge. God I loved playing what should have been a combat twink as a real person. Mods even let me create my own discipline, auto successes on all dex rolls, like potence and fortitude. Wish I remembered what I called it. Latin for Agility, or dexterity... Managed to establish he moved with such alien beauty and smoothness the Toreador's would often zone out watching him practice martial art katas. Yeah. Was a damn good time. Orson, I think.
the original weakmness of the assamites seem to be darkening of the skin the older the vampire is. Vampires a thousand years old, have inhuman obsidian skin.
