Like I said in my last comment to someone I’m not questioning her talent at all she has an amazing voice I was just looking for her to make the song hers not just copying James brown, I wanted to hear her voice come to light, but it was a cover so I understand why most are heated wit my opinion but I always butcher names it’s a bad habit.

Christina has always given her praise towards Black culture with her influence of singing. Soul is something many can try to duplicate, but it doesnt always hit the nail. For example Ariana Grande can sing her ass off, but does she have soul? No. Black folk created a style of singing that literally represents the name, soul. You gotta feel it, not just hit the notes.
