update: its been 6 months since ive worked at tacobell and honestly it is very fast pace, but as long as you come to work ready to work, you'll learn everything in no time! Currently I'm a line worker & Drive-thru and I prefer making food over drive thru. Drive thru can be very stressful sometimes, but I promise yall, you'll get the hang of it eventually! I wish yall the best of luck :)
Another update: lol I no longer work here. It is a really simple easy job once you get the hang of it. But also if you have good co-workers and good managers it will be it even easier. But out of nowhere everyone at my store started quitting, ( managers included) so we were understaffed, AND our new boss was not very nice at all. But I don't want this to discourage you! I think if you wanna work here go for it! But the minute you feel this isn't for you, you can definitely find something way better. Hope this helped !.

ur videos rly helped me a lot at the start of first working at Taco Bell, it’s been six months and working register is like second hand nature!! to anyone who’s reading this and nervous abt drive thru, don’t worry at all. even with bad training you’ll still master it. i remember being rly nervous and thinking I was gonna mess up and all this stuff and I legit got it down in four days, it’s super simple I promise, it’s even more simple if your store has the newer pos system. don’t stress, you got this, and don’t be afraid to ask for help!! ur a new hire so trust me they will be very understanding even if you’re slow or mess up :) sooner or later you will get to the point of being able to handle drive thru rushes all by yourself. good luck to anyone reading this

i just started at taco bell and not gonna lie the girl who showed me like wasn’t very in detail how to work the register this video helps a lot i’m trying to get faster so i’m not holding anyone up i hate asking for help
I have an interview wed. The manager seemed really nice and generally I find that Taco Bell is one of the better places to work from what I’ve been told. Not really nervous, I’m 28, have had some jobs know what to expect but if I get the job which I likely will because they are offering a bonus incentive which I will take lol, this video will help a lot.
It's not the company that makes the place better, it's the type of people you are working with. I never had a good experience work with Taco Bell tbh. There were no bonuses as long as I have worked with them. Good luck!

Something I forgot to mention, when you switch the meat to beans it doesn't up charge but when you switch to meat(or meat with another meat) it will up-charge.

Don't worry, the first few days are always tough. Yes you have to count change.

No. The service champions have nothing to do with the Food champions.

Combo sub!!
You would combo sub if it's a combo but you'll do modify if it's not a combo.

So I can only Combo sub with the combos, so I cant use the modify button on combos?! Wont they get mad they cant subsitute beans for all the beef in the party park
@@teleportingpotatoe Actually you can substitute the beef to beans with no charge but it can't be changed to another item.
So basically for combos, nothing can be modified but tacos. And regular tacos/supreme tacos can't be modified into a Doritos one without upcharging?
A flavored taco is always an up charge but for a regular taco, no. There will be up charges for changing a meat to another meant but no charge for changing meat to beans.

Dumb Question I have but you know how Taco Bell workers get a free meal when they go into breaks, I keep forgetting how we're supposed to call it in as a worker's order, do you hit the button on top called manager function or is something else, I keep forgetting. Thanks in advance!
After you ring up the food you want, you will have to call the manager, and then she/he will do their manager discount so it's free.

Let’s say someone gets a chalupa and they don’t want like “sour cream” how can I take that out ?
I answered that in the video. You can just simply click "sour cream" and it will take it off.

I don't understand what you are asking. You would ask the manager to see if you still have the item or not.

When a say a number they are talking about combos. You would go to the combos tab and hit "combo 4".
