Skylight production this video was GREAT👍 there was little noise's . That made this video, so good. Very relaxing ‼️ just to lesson to the JET ENGINS. Help me , go to sleep. Thank's Again for this video.👌
I've gotten to really like the Embraer-175's, they're a solid regional jet, comfortable ride. I like the daily run between GEG & PAE (well that's when PAE is open). 40-45 minutes & you're there!
Two interesting things I've noticed--at the gate, before boarding,I see the FO doing his preflight check, looking at the engine, onboard, looking at the next gate's a/c,seeing somebody also doing a preflight--as you pushed back, noticed the tow-tug guy putting out a single red rubber thingy, essentially closing off that gate, same thing several gates over, wonder why so many gates closed off? Looked like a BA 747 you taxied past, was this the last flight of the day to JLN? Pre-Covid,nobody wearing facemasks nor any social distancing onboard. How did you get that last ramp view at JLN?
The reason why so many gates are "closed" or empty at is that this was late. This was pre-covid, so it was still a late departure. The last of the day to JLN at 9:30pm or even later, I don't remember the exact time. Since DFW is a hub for American, most of their planes leave DFW overnight and head to the outstations like JLN. All the cities that American serves out of DFW have at least one flight that leaves early in the morning to head back to DFW. The planes have to stay overnight at those cites, meaning that leaves very few planes that actually need to stay overnight at DFW. Only the very high demand routes like LAX, MIA, ORD, PHL, CLT, etc. have early morning departs form DFW that require planes to sit at the gates overnight. As for the last shot, I simply waked up to the fence next to the terminal. The airports employee parking lot is there and it's not blocked off by a fence, so you can walk right up to the ramp fence.

Totally agree. I love flying the 175, and would even prefer it over a 737 in most cases.
Nice video!
Nice Buddy. Thanks for sharing your experience

Is American storing any planes at Dallas
There were. I don’t know if they’re still there. I saw several American employees posting today that most narrow bodies have re-entered service now.
Skylite Productions yeah, some are
Skylite Productions I flew on an American 737-800 from Boston to Charlotte and an Airbus A319 from Charlotte to St. Thomas
