    Very informative!!!
    I’d like to ask if are you free to choose your tutor? Are tutors provided by the hospital? Thank you so much!

      Thank you. Your tutors are chosen for you and they are provided by the hospital or wherever you might be completing your training.

    Hii ..I from India..I am currently doing my masters in pharmacy specialising in pharmacy practice. I m interested to come to UK in September 2021 intake. If I study master of public health there ..will I be able to make my career in hospitals??? After my course..if I want to register as pharmacist there..what should I do?? Should I do the OSPAP again???... please reply 🙏🙏🙏

      Thanks for your comment. If you study Master of Public Health here in the UK, you won't be able to work as a pharmacist in the UK. The only way to work as a Pharmacist in the UK (if you are already a pharmacist or got your qualification from outside the UK) is to complete and pass the OSPAP course, Pre-reg training and Pre-Reg exam. I will suggest doing the OSPAP unless you have a specific reason for doing the M.Sc Public Health. You can watch the OSPAP Playlist I created to help you.

    Hi I have a question regarding the joining date for pre reg to NHs via oriel and would really appreciate your thought on this .
    I am planning to do MSc Ospap 2022 and since this course get over only by September of2023, I am worried if I would be able join for the pre reg at NHS which start on the month of July 2023. Would they accept a pre reg in the month of September?
    Pls advice

      That’s a really good question. I think the NHS hospital should be accommodating with this. I did the PG Dip so I am not sure how it worked out for people who did the M.Sc version but I want to believe they can extend your start date. Also, if you finish your dissertation on time, it may help. The best thing may be to email the GPHC and see what they say and when you do get an offer in an NHS hospital, you can also speak with them. Good luck.

    Good evening, you applied for pre-registration when you got an offer for ospap, so were you running the pre-registration with the ospap program concurrently?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  2 года назад

      Good evening. Yes, you have to apply for pre-reg training before you commence OSPAP. I already had my offer for OSPAP before applying for pre-reg. You have to apply for your pre-reg a year in advance if you want to use the Oriel system (usually for hospital, GP practices and some community pharmacy placements). You can still apply when you start OSPAP for any remaining slots in community pharmacy but the hospital and GP practice ones would be gone. The Oriel system has a short window in June of every year when they open their application system for two weeks. The pre-reg is done after you pass your OSPAP.

    Hi, thank you for your useful information. What about the hospital interviews? What are the common questions they usually ask??

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your question. The method for recruiting has changed (I made a video on the new system which is called Oriel System). This means the questions and format is different so my interview experience won't be the same. Do check out some videos on Oriel system which can shed more light on the kind of questions they may ask.

    Heyyyy, What's the name of the hospital you did your pre-reg at?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад

      Thanks for your questions. I am afraid I can't put personal information on here but it is one of the largest Teaching hospitals in Southwest London. I hope that's good enough. Thanks.

    Hii..please let me know that during the pre registration period do you get any stipend from the hospital??

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад +1

      Hi, yes you do get a stipend depending on what sector you complete your pre-reg. It is usually from £20,000 and above but it again depends on what part of the UK and what pharmacy sector.

    Hello. Thank you for the information. Do you do a 1 year ospap course in a university before a pre-reg placement in a hospital??. I'm a bit confused on that. Thank you.

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад

      Hello and thanks for watching. Yes, you do the one year OSPAP course in a university, then move on to 52 weeks pre-reg in either a hospital, community pharmacy or any other approved site and write a final assessment exam just before the end of the pre-reg period before you are eligible to practice as a UK pharmacist. If everything goes well, it takes roughly about 2 years to complete. Good luck.

    Hello may I know how many years or months of PSW so we get after OSPAP so that we can get the time for pre registeration and gphc main exam??

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад +1

      If you choose the OSPAP M.Sc and pass it, you will be eligible to apply for the PSW which is 2 years as far as you meet all the PSW visa requirements. This should be enough for your pre- reg and GPHC main exam.

      Thank you! But what if someone is coming on student visa by taking masters course in uk and then they realise to give OSPAP?

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад +1

      They will have to check through the gov uk website for advice on changing visas etc and the implications. I am afraid I don’t know too much about that.

    Hello, thankyou for the video do we get PSW after OSPAP

    • @Fashstyleliv
      @Fashstyleliv  3 года назад +1

      Yes, you can get the PSW if you meet all the requirements following completion of M.Sc OSPAP or you can switch to a Tier 2 work visa or if you also meet the requirements. The PSW I believe commences from July 2021. Thanks for watching.
