Does anyone know why most fighters now dont have their chest protectors tightened. almost everyone looks like they have loose chest protectors on. im not saying do it extremely tight to the point you cant breathe but most fighters now look like their protectors are loose
It's a trick to make the sensor less sensitive (less chance to match to be precise, as the sensitivity is static). When you wear it loose, the protector will move later than your body. This decreases the precision of opponent's kick because they target based on your body movement.
Actually, no. Traditional TKD had even more flaws with regard to scoring. Not once or twice you see unfair judgement, sometimes done collectively, simply because the judges hate an athlete (or playing money behind the curtain). Paper based or DSS, all the same. PSS eliminates that human driven problems, making everything as objective as possible. It just the system is not perfect, there are calculation holes that are well abused by teams and athletes. But at least it's clean now, much less to no protests at all. Going back to DSS or paper based is clearly not a solution, if your house has water leaking problem, you don't solve it by moving back to live in a cave, do you? 20/20 armor has made a good progress lately, just hope it would be accepted as the new standard and you can have fun to watch matches again.

te invito a pararte en una escuela de taekwondo donde haya por lo menos alguien que haya participado en una olimpiada nacional y tu no durarías ni 1 round vs un cinta verde, lee siempre le ha ganado a los mexicanos incluso uno se rindió y no término el combate

The rule changes and the new electronic armors have defanged a once awesome fighting sport. TKD 20 years ago was powerful... today it's just slapping and flicking your feet onto your opponent's armor for points. The gold level athletes look so weak. They're probably aren't but the techniques they execute make them look weak. This Lee guy looks like a joke. So you mean to tell me that a foot slapper like him is the best in TKD?
