I run the Lone Star Pro through many coins, silver, and gold to see if the Bounty Hunter Lone Star Pro metal detector will detect it. I will also show you how deep the Lone Star Pro will detect targets.
Thank you! Excellent video.
Great to seeing ya making the videos brother!!!
Appreciate it!!
So glad to see you making videos again! Hope you can bring back Three Minute Thursdays.
Glad you enjoy the videos Rick! Thank you!
@@AmericanDetection headed back out to treasure hunt with our BH PRO STAR! Had to review details again!!! You using the XTerra Pro they just came out with?
I am a newbie at this, I have a Bounty Hunter Pro and I was wondering if I could attach different coils that are bigger to my detector...Thanks for the video real cool.
Great information!
Glad it was helpful!
Why does owners manual say it won’t work on the beach.
What about white gold and how do you know how many inches deep? Would it detect a small pendant? If so, how would I set that up to begin and am I looking for zinc?
Yes, white gold is detectable with this metal detector. In my opinion, I don't think it really matters telling how deep the targets are because the detector can only detect 8-10 inches deep anyways. If it's deeper than 8=10 inches and you detected it, you know it's something much larger than a piece of jewelry or coin sized target.
@@AmericanDetection I've lost my diamond pendant that is set in white gold. There is not a lot of gold on the pendant. Will I still be able to find it? No luck so far.
@@user-mo4wt9gk9y you should be able to find it. Don't Discriminate out anything. Go after everything that beeps. I imagine it is on the surface, depending on how long ago you lost it... so if you have to dig very deep then it probably wouldn't be what you are looking for.
@@user-mo4wt9gk9y good luck!
Thumbs Up and Algorithm Food ☑️😎 (I was wondering about this machine and how it compares to the Tracker IV 🤔)
Both are great machines. The Lone Star Pro is digital so you have more ability to ID targets and can get a better idea of target depth. But both are quite capable. If I were choosing between the 2 it would come down to what I could afford...Just know that if you could only afford the Tracker IV, you would still have a great detector!
@@AmericanDetection Thanks for the insight. Still, I'm thinking of upgrading to the Nokta Simplex.🤔 (I think I'm ready for alittle more Bells and Whistles)😐
@@silversurfer3202 That's always an option. I grew up in a manufacturing town in Wisconsin, that had a GM plant. When that plant was closed I saw many of my friends and family lose their jobs and for that reason I always choose American. Good luck out there and I hope you find all kinds of great stuff!
@@AmericanDetection Point taken.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👍
Sir which is target depth
Target depth is indicated by the arrows on the left of the screen. Every arrow that is lit up is equal to approximately 2". So 2 arrows would indicate 4" deep. The Lone Star Pro will detect a coin sized target to approximately 8-9" deep.
That air test is useless. Put the object in a cup of dirt and then see how deep it will detect. Not many objects are found floating in the air.
