      ruclips.net/video/sEgPj5uiUNg/видео.html You may want to check this one out too..yes the glycerine comes from the farmacia, the alcohol is everywhere! Only ONE Chinese Bazaar, not at least 4?? lol

    I just thought I should find your video and watch it again and am so happy to see you have a new one. I have been wanting to start playing again and I have the distress ink refills. Someone (can’t remember) suggested white gouache would be a good way to achieve the same look as the oxide. Have you tried that? I may need to play between laundry loads today!

      The white gouache may well work - however, I have recently found something rather interesting...ruclips.net/video/sEgPj5uiUNg/видео.html

    Your original video of this is what made me subscribe Sandra a while back. I haven't tried this yet as I'm looking round for a set of cheapie WC paints.....

    • @createinspain
      @createinspain  5 лет назад +1

      You don't need to get anything too special, pound shop/dollar shop stuff will do.

      @@createinspain would it be possible to put this on a blank InkPad? Would it keep??

    • @createinspain
      @createinspain  5 лет назад +1

      @@angel_on_the_edge8084 I 'm not sure. Possibly, if glycerine was added. You can mix it directly on a sponge applicator though. Just editing a follow up project for it..:)

    Thank you for the great demonstrations. It was nice that you explained in simple and easy to follow directions how and why you were mixing and applying the paints in the manner that you were. I don't know if you did a video on this or not (I'll check) but how well does this paint mixing technique work on stamps, particularly if an umbré effect is desired?

      You are welcome. I also have a more recent version which is very simple and does blend very well in the way you wish...ruclips.net/video/sEgPj5uiUNg/видео.html

      @@createinspain I enjoy listening to people who think outside the box. A problem solver that formulates alternatives through creativity and knowledge. It's rewarding to solve problems in my own profession, but when it comes to learning something new, I look for teachers with a similar mindset. Thanks again.

    Do you think the memento dew drops are a good dupe for distress inks?
    I don’t have any sort of watercolors! I do have a lot of acrylic paints! A 60 set from Arteza

    • @createinspain
      @createinspain  3 года назад +1

      This is just the video you need:) ruclips.net/video/sEgPj5uiUNg/видео.html using Gouache. If you don't have gouche I would still advise getting some as the dew drops are not really a sub for distress inks.

    It seems like using an acrylic chalk paint with the water color would give it that slightly chalky look that the distress inks have?

    • @createinspain
      @createinspain  2 года назад

      Acrylic would dry too fast. If you want chalky look, use gouche instead of watercolour.
